i ordered via UberEats and got the beef with broccoli, roasted pork lo mein, egg rolls, and ginger sauce. The beef with broccoli was good but the sauce wasn't as flavorful as i wanted but after adding some soy sauce and sambal oelek it was delicious. the lo mein was flavorful and there was a good amount of pork strips. The egg rolls were crispy but needed some soy sauce and i dipped it in the hot mustard that came with the order (i am not a fan of plum sauce but the one they sent me was pretty good). The ginger sauce is good but not as much ginger flavor as i would like. i would definitely order from the restaurant again.

We enjoyed our dinner at Shanghai Moon. It was around 6:15 PM on. Monday. Not particularly crowded. We were seated immediately, Waters and beverages were served quickly. I can recommend our appetizers - scallion pancakes and egg rolls.
Our entrees were all good- crispy sesame shrimp and sweet sour chicken were both served with white rice. We also had the pineapple fried rice, as well as a poo poo platter. The only criticism was that the batter on the sweet and sour chicken was a bit too heavy.
For all 4 of us, the bill was approximately $105 before tip.
There is bar seating, and they do serve cocktails (we did not indulge). There are also plenty of booths.
There is paid street parking and a paid parking lot around the corner (towards the rear of the we restaurant ).
We would definitely visit again.

New to Medford and trying to find a solid Chinese food place. Food was middling. While I was halfway eating the Mongolian Beef, I pulled a rubber band out of my mouth that had been cooked into the food. Totally disgusting.

I've only been here for takeout, not eaten in the restaurant. Food has been good, though not great. It's plentiful and fast, for a reasonable price. We've been back a few times when we didn't have time or energy to cook for ourselves.

Honestly the first time I have ever thought about throwing away Chinese Food, this is purely from a taste perspective this might have been the worst Chinese food I have ever had. I didn’t think it was possible to mess up fried rice and crab Rangoon but yea I sincerely did not enjoy anything. But it was hot and was quick for what it’s worth
So far I’ve only ever order takeout, but the food is incredible. I’ve been on the hunt for good Chinese food for many years now, and Shanghai moon is hands down my favorite place to order Chinese food from! My favorite thing on the menu would have to be the steamed wontons with peanut sesame sauce. If I could order this sauce by the gallon I would. It’s so delicious. 2 things I typically judge Chinese food restaurants on are the egg rolls and the roast pork lo mein, and Shanghai moon has hit the mark on both of those!! The sushi here is also amazing. I continue to order again and again. Someday soon I’ll need to go inside and enjoy it as a proper restaurant, but for now, the takeout is everything I’m looking for!

I always love the food and service here - absolutely zero complaints. I just want to use this review to shout out their crab rangoons in particular. Best I ever had, nowhere else has come close yet. They’re always too good. Decently stuffed, creamy, and slightly crabby. Full savory - not slightly sweet like some other places do (which totally is fine if that’s your thing, it’s just not my thing)
The inside is a pretty standard version of an american/chinese style bar and restaurant. The food is always great here whether you eat in or take out. I can sometimes be disappointed in fillings for items like rangoons or eggrolls but they stuff them full of everything you are looking for. I highly recommend the beef teriyaki, I don't know what they are doing to make those soooo tasty but they are incredible.

This place just lost a regular customer. Very disappointed that they decided to reduce the size of their fried rice box, by almost HALF the size. I eat their food regularly so i know. Looks like they have resized their to go containers to smaller sizes but Increased the price. I’ll be spending my $$ somewhere else for Chinese food.
