We're not big eaters, liked the menu and happy to pay for good food. W. Medford is new to us but was excited to try their food. Our food tasted pretty good but the portions were much smaller than we would put up with. Too bad, all they needed was maybe a small side dish to give the platters we ordered a little boost. The tiramisus were so sweet, we threw them all out.

Maybe I ordered badly, I do want to support local. But the Eggplant parm was inedible. Stringy, salty, burnt, plus the pasta had no sauce--surprised since they advertised homemade sauce. Disappointed.

Ordered a Greek Salad from here through Peach and had it delivered to my work and although it was pretty good, they should of called this a side salad. It was basically three pieces of lettuce and some small tiny bits of chicken and barely any quinoa and lots of onions. It was done in maybe 4 bites and it cost $12 bucks?? I would hesitate to order from this place again otherwise you will be left starving for more.

The fish and chips was good. But the portion was small 2 small pieces. More chips than fish. The grilled salmon was good. Nice portion but there were hardly any vegetable on the plate. Rice was tasty. Pilgrim sandwich was a hit. The fries were really good. The homemade chips sucked. They tasted like they had been sitting around. Finally the steak tip bomb was meh... The tips were really rare kind of bland and some pieces were really chewy. I ordered using Ubereats because they had a buy $30 save $20. I might give this place another chance if I'm ever in the area, but I do t think I'd seek it out again for delivery.

My hairdresser is located very close to Simple Fare so I know every 5 weeks, not only am I getting a cut and color, I'm getting take out from Simple Fare! Their menu has lots of choices including hot and cold sandwiches, salads, hot entrees, soups and kids meals, (the chips they add as a side choice are house made and very good)! I have also ordered trays from them for larger gatherings at my home and their staff was very good working with me to get a menu that was varied enough so there was something for everyone. The portion are decent sized too. I have yet to have a bad meal there and I've a large selection of their menu. And they used to close by 2:00 p.m., they are now open until 7:00!!! Definitely worth a trip!

Just ordered takeout from here as I'd never tried it before and I'm always up for trying a new spot. - Cranberry, walnut, and goat cheese salad, ordered with chicken salad on top - very decent; a good, yummy option for healthier eating (probably?) - Mac & cheese bites - a little dry and bland. A solid 3/5. Could have used a good dipping sauce featuring goat cheese... - Steak & cheese, ordered with onions and roasted peppers - this meat omg... the roll was a little dry but overall I was not complaining because this was the best steak in a steak and cheese sub possibly ever. Some of the meat was a little too chewy, but again, overall not complaining. Would I have liked it to contain more cheese? Yes. Was that an option when I ordered? No. Overall, would reorder everything except the bites-- would prob spring for the steak & cheese rolls instead (get it? Spring? Rolls? NVM.)
Simple Fare really came through in the clutch for my husband and me this past Saturday. My husband had made plans long ago to have a personal chef come to our home to celebrate my 50th. Unfortunately, plans changed at the last minute, leaving him with no plan, food etc.. through a friend, my husband found Simple Fare and even though they are many miles away from us, they created a delicious menu at a reasonable price at the last minute and the chef even delivered the food himself!We had an awesome dinner and a wonderful surprise!! Highly recommend!!

We wanted to send a fresh, healthy meal to our friends in Framingham but being out of state we had to depend upon an internet search and reviews. I am so glad we found Simple Fare! Although they were closed for the Holiday weekend, Mike was so quick and responsive to my order request. We were able to do everything over e-mail - even payment - and the results were very happy friends. We ordered them the Mediterranean lunch plate for 10 and a small fruit and yogurt platter. They have severe gluten allergies and Mike made sure everything was labeled - and accommodated a substitution from the set menu. Our friends said that it was the first time in six weeks that they felt like they got fresh, healthy, delicious food. Thanks, Mike!

Since I had to work Thanksgiving this year and we are keeping our circle small I decided to order their dinner that included everything and it was fabulous. Food was perfectly seasoned and cooked and reheated very well with their instructions. Will definitely think of them when I have any catering needs.

We enjoy to go out. Yesterday we came to this excellent place which friends told us about. We had a beautiful evening there with exceptional food and a courteous team and a professional chief cook. We put this place in our phone list and we shall definitely visit again soon. We highly recommend.
