So I roll in at 10:55 AM (basically right after they open) and order the most basic stuff: a double deluxe Smashburger, their “scorching hot” chicken sandwich, and chili cheese fries with jalapeños. Nothing complicated.
Then I sit there. For 30 minutes.
The staff — two women in the kitchen and the guy at the register — are too busy having a loud, casual conversation instead of moving orders along. Meanwhile, I’m just sitting there in an empty restaurant wondering how it can possibly take half an hour to put together three items.
After half an hour I grab the bag, head for the door… and the cashier literally chases me down because they “might have mixed up the order.” So I go back in, wait another 10 minutes, and finally ask for a refund on my $22.74 because 40 minutes for fast food is a joke. Cashier says they “can’t” refund it because the food was already made.
So I walk out with food I don’t even want, pissed off and frustrated.
The chili cheese fries? Tiny portion for $5.99. Definitely not worth the price. The “scorching hot” chicken sandwich? Dry, bland, and disappointing.
Honestly, this place is a ghost town for a reason. Panda Express and Panera on either side are busy all the time, meanwhile Smashburger’s empty with three people standing around doing anything but focusing on customers.
Never again.
