This may sound silly but I had the best breakfast sandwich of my life here this morning. Everyone in my 4 person party were thrilled with their choices (3 breakfast sandwiches and a grilled and buttered blueberry muffin and side of sausage) I’m not a big egg fan but the sandwich sounded so good. When we saw 5 egg omelet, we thought the omelets would be big. Not so much. Very little ham or cheese in mine and the pieces of ham were diced so thin you couldn’t even taste it. The hashbown is just a thin strip of something. The Greek omelet only came with one piece of toast and they charged $1.75 to add tomato when there was just a couple small pieces.
Nice small clean place, hardly anyone there, but give me a break with Boston like prices. 2 breakfast dishes, an omelette and French toast with 1 coffee, total $39(not including tip)? Plus charging $1 for 2 strawberry jam packs?? I know eggs are priced high, I bet owner pays no more than 30-40cents an egg wholesale, low overhead, I understand other expenses, 2 people family run, how can you possibly justify the prices?
