I forgot what it was like to have someone actually spread the butter on my toast. It was a small touch that made the difference. It was like going over an old friends house for breakfast nice and cozy. The food was great and the service was fantastic. Can't wait to go back!

I think this place is overpriced and not really comfortable. We went and ordered a side of hollandaise and OMG... It was pink and the girl who brought it didn't even know what was it, she called it a cheese sauce? Anyway, I asked for napkins and I'm stull waiting for it, I don't think I'll be coming back

When my car broke down nearby cappas completely turned my mood around! The food was made right in front of me super hot and fresh, they had no probably with my odd request (decaf coffee with cocoa haha) and asked clarifying questions to make sure I didn’t experience any issues with my allergies. Super friendly and quick with delicious food I’m mad I didn’t try it sooner!

Update: my last two orders were extremely disappointing. Yesterday’s order was the worst, my French toast was covered in chocolate chips, you couldn’t taste anything else. The French toast was sitting in a pool of brown chocolate water. This brown water got everywhere in the bag and covered my breakfast wrap as well. Very soggy unappetizing disappointing meal. Could only eat a few bites.
I found this place on door dash and tried their cheesecake French toast and an omelet for breakfast. My meal was a 10/10. I wanted a topping not listed so I requested it in the comments. Someone was kind enough to give me a call to give me all my options. The portion size was great, I had some leftovers. And the food was genially relishes and freshly made. I definitely recommend Cappa’s!

Close to my house. Very convenient. Good is consistently good (but not great). I liked the croissant French toast and the French toast with fruit (btw fruit is cooked with the toast so it's hot... But I like it

Cappa’s Trackside Kitchen in Melrose, Mass is so much more than a breakfast cafe, it’s a woman owned, family run business that has everything you want in a restaurant and so much more. Their menu selection is by far the best in the area compared to other local establishments. Their prices are very reasonable and the portions are huge, but what truly makes Cappa’s Trackside Kitchen standout is the amazing people that work there, from the cooks who get the order spot on every time, to the warm and friendly wait staff that are always smiling and spreading their happiness with each and every customer. There’s a lesson to be learned here, this is how all restaurants need to be.
