I have loved Trackside since I was a kid and always get the best breakfasts when I go there. The only reason the food has 4 stars instead of 5 is because there aren't gluten free pancakes, which would be ideal but with the size of the space and the risk of cross contamination I understand that it may not be possible.

Great food. Quiet location (the trains are very infrequent). Been here several times for brunch, sitting both inside and outside. I usually have pancakes and sausage (the links and patties are both good).

I ordered take out and the food was amazing. I got a sausage, egg and cheese on an English muffin and it was the best thing ever. The fried egg was delicious and tasted fresh and homemade. I will definitely be returning for more.
Excellent service and delicious food and dog friendly too! Great coffee, eggs, omelette- all good.

Husband and I vacationed in Boston and we stopped in this little restaurant for a good bite outside of the city. It was perfect. Family owned for 30 years. The food and service was wonderful. Great option for home cooked food at a reasonable and low price. Loved it and we would come back for breakfast again.

Service was super slow and being subjected to Fox Noise nearly put me off of breakfast altogether.
I go there every time I am in Melrose. Excellent food and choices. Wonderful family restaurant.

Great old-school spot. Food and service are always on point. Prices are reasonable, and you never leave hungry.
They charge a TAKEOUT FEE for ordering to-go in person. Beware.
This place has good food but they run their business weird. If I order for takeout on Grubhub it’s cheaper than in person ordering to-go. Come to find out they charge a TAKEOUT FEE and charge more when using a card to pay. They don’t tell you this unless you ask why the price is so high. Grubhub my order would’ve been $41. In person for takeout it was $47. Will not order here again no matter how good the food is.
The pricing is so inconsistent and they turned off Grubhub take out 2 hours before they closed. Plenty other great diners in the area that aren’t shady.

I went there today for a delivery and the lady at the counter was an old lady with dirty blonde hair and glasses was EXTREMELY RUDE and when I called to speak to a manager she said they closed and hung up on me when they are supposed to be open for another half hour. She needs to be FIRED cuz no one should have went through what I did today with that lady. FIRST AND LAST TIME COMING and I will be calling again to get in contact with the manager cuz this is outrageous
