Went here for late lunch on a Saturday evening. They were pretty busy. I ordered Pollo Asana and it was delicious. We got 3 amigos too which was great too! The service wasn’t as good as the food. If you’re in Melrose and looking for a decent Mexican restaurant it’s a good place.

The place was crowded at 5pm, so be prepared. Staff was very friendly and polite. The wait time estimate was accurate, told us 35 minutes we were seated in 30. Service was fairly prompt, even with the crowd. Everything was spotless, saw them cleaning the menus, wiping down every page after every use. Food arrived when expected, no long waits that are usual in very busy places. Food was hot and delicious. Prices were reasonable. What more do you expect

We came here tonight to celebrate my mother’s 50th birthday, and unfortunately the service completely ruined what should have been a special evening. Our server, Justin, was extremely rude to us from the moment we sat down. I’ve worked in restaurants before as a host, so I understand how important tips are and the stress that comes with serving, but the way he treated us was unprofessional and disrespectful.
He asked multiple times if we understood that using Patrón would be an extra charge, and while we were fine with that, his repeated comments and snide remarks made it feel like he was questioning whether we could afford to eat there. As one of the only Latin families in the restaurant that night, it made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome—almost like we weren’t “good enough” to be there. From that moment on, he only started to communicate with my father, which also I found to be disrespectful.
We’ve been to Mexico Lindo before and never had an experience like this, so I know this restaurant can do better. But last night, instead of enjoying a milestone birthday, we left feeling disrespected and disappointed. Justin, I hope you got what you wanted. :/

The restaurant is very accessible for visually impaired people like myself except for the menu, but that was not a problem. The service was incredible. The atmosphere was great. Outside tables were a lot more busy and noisier, but inside was a lot more calm and relaxing. Perfect for a date. The food was delicious from the chips and salsa that are served fresh to the large dish that my wife and I shared. Everything was delicious. I am born in Mexico and can definitely say this has been the best Mexican restaurant in all of Massachusetts that I've been to and super budget friendly. I would definitely recommend and would go back 🙂 my favorite dish was the large plate of steak sausage, also known as chorizo rice beans, chicken shrimp that is served together in a big Stone bowl and the fresh cheese along with scallions really adds flavor. The salsa was very tasty
