Went here for late lunch on a Saturday evening. They were pretty busy. I ordered Pollo Asana and it was delicious. We got 3 amigos too which was great too! The service wasn’t as good as the food. If you’re in Melrose and looking for a decent Mexican restaurant it’s a good place.
The place was crowded at 5pm, so be prepared. Staff was very friendly and polite. The wait time estimate was accurate, told us 35 minutes we were seated in 30. Service was fairly prompt, even with the crowd. Everything was spotless, saw them cleaning the menus, wiping down every page after every use. Food arrived when expected, no long waits that are usual in very busy places. Food was hot and delicious. Prices were reasonable. What more do you expect
The restaurant is very accessible for visually impaired people like myself except for the menu, but that was not a problem. The service was incredible. The atmosphere was great. Outside tables were a lot more busy and noisier, but inside was a lot more calm and relaxing. Perfect for a date. The food was delicious from the chips and salsa that are served fresh to the large dish that my wife and I shared. Everything was delicious. I am born in Mexico and can definitely say this...
