My Diner in Melrose is a fantastic spot for breakfast or brunch. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served quickly, even when it was busy. The Eggs Benedict was especially great — perfectly cooked eggs, delicious hollandaise, and generous portions. The atmosphere is classic diner-style, clean, and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to and recommending to others!

The food was pretty decent! I ordered eggs, toast, bacon, and fries – a pretty standard breakfast. The fried eggs were done perfectly, not over medium at all. The atmosphere felt homely, and the service was timely and attentive, which was nice. Overall, it was a really good experience! It's a great diner to check out when you're in the neighborhood, and they have some specials that I think are worth trying.

Restaurantji Recommends
On Veterans Day, I took my 93-year-old father, of Asian descent, after attending a memorial service, to enjoy a family brunch. I made a conscious decision to support a local establishment for this special occasion. Unfortunately, a party of four adults and one child could not be accommodated at this restaurant. From the moment we entered, the female servers' demeanor clearly indicated that our presence was seen as an inconvenience. They suggested splitting the family across two tables, with one member seated separately. Dissatisfied with this treatment, we chose to leave and found another nearby restaurant where the service was markedly more respectful and courteous. This experience reinforced that, beyond the quality of food, the respect and openness demonstrated by staff are crucial for establishing a positive reputation. I trust that the management of the owners will address these issues with their staff to ensure that future veterans and their families receive the dignity and hospitality they deserve. We are willing to wait, but the attitude we encountered was unacceptable for paying customers.

Previous long time patron. Food consistently has gone down hill but worse is the person who identified herself as owner (untrue) and her poor attitude and customer service. Turkey dinner previously delicious but now turkey is not sliced but diced 🤢. I requested a refund and offered to have “dinner” picked up which was declined and I was charged. The only positive experience is the wonderful and pleasant delivery driver

Really enjoyed our breakfast here! Omelets were very good. Loved the home fries that came with it. Nutty Waffle was SO good! Parking available behind the burrito place on the corner of Main and Grove.

Excellent little spot, reasonable prices even in today's crazy prices. I will definitely be back. French toast was amazing.
