Pork fried rice had nothing in it. Wasn’t sure there was even pork. A bit dry.Boneless ribs were good. The sweet-and-sour chicken is basically chicken fingers with a 2 tiny containers of EXTREMELY watered down pink liquid that is supposed to be sweet and sour sauce.Peking raves and teriyaki were ok.

First time was pretty solid. Second time not so much. Now tonight. I’m unable to order anything. Not sure if they have a pickup limit or their system stops taking orders after a certain time. I understand it’s a busy night for Saturday. But I am willing to wait. I guess not. Seamless. Their online system. Beyond menu. NOPE.Won’t be back. Sorry. You need to fix your stuff.

We get takeout from here at least once a month and it's constantly good every time. Delivery is always surprising fast and the food arrives fresh and very hot. I've enjoyed almost everything I've tried, the chicken is always cooked perfectly and the lo mein is some of the best I've ever had. I would highly recommend if you're looking for good Chinese takeout in Melrose!

This is without question the best Chinese food in the area, this place Slaps! My wife is out of town and I am home with our youngest. She is not the adventurous type however, when I said let's try someplace new for Chinese food tonight, she immediately said yes. Well, we took a chance on Red Rose and let me tell you, Outstanding, by far the best in the area. We ordered the Korean fried Chicken wings, sweet chili style. Evidently, Korean Chickens are enormous, because these wings were huge and tasty!! We cannot wait to try the ginger style next. The fried rice and chicken fingers were fresh, and cooked to perfection. May seem trivial but hard undercooked and/or over cooked mushy rice can ruin the experience for me and Red Rose was spot on! The boneless spareribs were tender and sweet, Wow were they a great accompaniment to the General Gau's chicken. Which had the perfect amount of coating on the chicken and it was not drowned in sauce. This will be our go to Chinese food, I am impressed with the freshness and flavor of everything we ordered tonight. Try Red Rose, you will not be disappointed!Salute,Mica
Love the hot and sour soup, especially dipping the pork fried rice in it!

Second time I came here. I find it impressive that this is the only Chinese restaurant in the heart of Melrose off Main Street. This little spot is just for to go and not for dining in. The food itself is American Chinese standard taste, standard portions, and a high price given that it's Melrose. However, if you are in need of some good old fashioned greasy food and want your sugary tongue to be satisfied by enjoying the taste China-Merican food, look no further. This little spot houses some of the finest orange chicken and sweet and sour soup this side of the Mississippi Melrose main street that you can only find in just about any Chinese fast food-ish restaurant. Walked in and ordered combination plate A19 Egg Foo Young with pork fried rice and got the chicken strips for the appetizer. Lady that took my order was friendly and said it would take about 10 minutes. This location has only 1 small table with two chairs and is largely a take out location. Food came out and was very hot and fresh. The box was full. It was very good and I ended up making two meals out of it. If you're in the area this is a good choice.
