Very strange ordering procedure. Very poor French Onion Soup. First was all bread no broth, very salty. Replacement had more broth no flavor. I asked if they added water

Great old style layout bar, very attentive staff and couldn't have had a better experience. I will definitely be back. Burger was top notch, the bun especially. Heavy and tasty.

Really good food & atnosho overall, and the phone base ordering was unique and helpful although I do wish there was an option for regular service too. I'd go back, but maybe with some moist towelettes to wipe my hands off after eating finger food so I can use my phone!

I went in for lunch today with a friend and four kids under four-years-old, and they made us feel so welcome! The food was fantastic, the staff was friendly, the atmosphere is really cool and unique, and the ordering system was very convenient for our group (especially with little kids). We were able to settle up our own check when the little ones got tired which was a huge plus. The fish and chips, chowder, and mac n cheese were our favorites today!

We've been here a few times now- made a point of it today The 4th of July 2025! Fitting place to enjoy a meal especially today. Excellent -always- chowder/ had Buffalo shrimp over coleslaw & an awesome beer (they offer 'pony' sizes which are great for people like me who love beer for its varying qualities and don't tolerate large amounts, also their beer offerings rotate giving customers a really fun & interesting drink experience!Staff has always been wonderful. Food arrives promptly. It really is one of my favorite restaurants in our Boston surrounding areas. Hope to go there many many many times more

The servers were light spirited but seemed like they didn’t like what the owners have made them do. You can tell there is a lot of micromanaging there. Place has a lot of potiential to be great but can’t do so because they are so stuck in their ways. You can tell because every-time we go there’s an entire new staff, meaning their turnover not only for customers, but employees is quite high. I do not recommend unless you like places where the owners like to make your dining experience stressful.

QR ordering at tables is unfortunate, but a sign of the times. Would prefer proper waitstaff, considering the prices. That said, our food was fresh, delicious, and far above average quality. We sat at the bar for brunch and to be waited on properly. Our bartender was friendly, courteous, and helpful. I will definitely return for dinner and sit at the bar again. Atmosphere is top notch. So far, I say this place is a gem in the rough due to QR code ordering. Will revise after subsequent visit.

We love stopping on random nights to play Connect Four as a couple while enjoying shareable apps. The Rising Eagle Publick House on Main Street in Melrose has such an awesome vibe. You can feel the history being told while also having a chill vibe and awesome service.
📲 Ordering Food and Drinks —> to order food and drinks it’s recommended to scan the QR code at your table. This allows you to open a tab and order your food and drinks at your own pace (and without feeling harassed by the super nice staff!).

Highly recommend the Chicken Tenders or Mac & Cheese (add bacon). We’ve tried so many things at Rising Eagle and have never been disappointed with our decision!
