Although Starbucks is a international chain, I feel this Starbucks is more of a local staple. I have seen familiar faces over the years going here and despite the poor decisions that Starbucks leadership have made with their menu, the staff here do a fantastic job accommodating the customers. The employees are friendly and my wife and I always feel welcome and enjoy the ambient atmosphere at this location. I do not go to Starbucks much anymore since they changed their menu for the worse in early 2025; however, I do go on occasion now solely because I enjoy the service and atmosphere at this location.

I've gone here this past weekend twice both times my coffee was messed up the first time I ordered my coffee I stood in line and everybody that was behind me was already gone my name was off the board and still no coffee after about maybe 5 minutes I received my coffee I go back the next day in a great mood everything's good order my coffee and it happens again turns out the staff doesn't know how to make my coffee I am a diabetic I want you to know how to make sugar-free vanilla latte with vanilla sugar free cold protein foam this makes me feel like I can't trust Starbucks to make me a cup of coffee that I can actually drink it really makes me sad because I love Starbucks I do not drink Dunkin donuts or any other place the coffee at other places gives me heartburn

So many middle/ high school kids hanging out here, yelling all the time. So noisy! All of employees don’t care about it at all

So many elementary school / middle school kids , yelling and hanging out In the store (not buying things , just staying, yelling , moving chairs / tables ) All of baristas are “blind “. Not even care about it. That’s the most sad part.
Was a little busy today, but thankfully didn't have to wait at all for my mobile order, which was nice. Staff were friendly; my vanilla sweet cream cold brew and sausage, cheddar and egg sandwich were cold/hot and tasty, albeit overpriced for something that isn't made in-house and only heated up (if you want my honest opinion).
Parking: It all depends on day of the week and time of day. This morning, I didn't have any trouble finding a spot as soon as I got there. Generally speaking, I don't have too much trouble either; there have been only a handful of times I've had to circle the block a few times or park in the lot behind the building or behind CVS on the opposite side of the street. Some park in the alley to the left of the store on either side, but I wouldn't recommend that, both because you're a knob who can or will mess up thru-traffic HD also because lately they've had someone from parking enforcement standing out there waiting for some moron to try and stop there

The Starbucks in Melrose has never messed up my order in the six years I’ve been visiting. Highly recommend ordering through the Starbucks mobile app as it’s the quickest way to get your order. My wife loves ordering tea from there while I’m pretty basic and order just a black hot coffee. You can never go wrong with their breakfast sandwiches.
