Staffs were all friendly. Sushi chef was super cheerful. You can tell he wants to make sure all customers are welcome and feel like a friend. And he did remember his customers. Price was same as near by Japanese restaurants which are much more comfortable and updated. Fish quality freshness was kinda lagging for the price.
Parking: Street parking for nearby 5 min walk. There is also a free lot but not obvious

I'm new to the Boston area and this place has the best poke bowl I've ever had in my life. I will drive the extra distance just to come here.
The freshness of the fish and the quantity in the poke bowl was simply amazing. I will come back here many times I just wish it was closer to my house.

Seriously is tucked in the corner down the alley way by Shaw's. If you miss it just loop the block. Good sushi, Poke bowls, etc. Take out, dine in BYOB. Friendly service
We ordered the Chashu Ramen, Smoked pork belly yakisoba and the Chashu udon noodle soup. All were delicious and we will definitely be getting take out there again!

By far my most frequented restaurant in Melrose, you can get some burrito sized sushi and pick everything in it 3 servings of salmon or any meat will put you at around 21$. With options of seaweed salad, edamame, avocado, cucumber, mango, lettuce... you can really pack in some nutrition and it's wrapped in seaweed. Nice fresh white rice (brown rice has too much arsenic). This is a good decision. You don't need to have raw fish they grill it, and there's fried tofu also very good. If you're not into health get the scallion pancake wrap with crispy chicken or haddock. Honorable mention smoked pork belly yakisoba???
