The best clam chowder of my life!! Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere

We were there on Halloween wirh our reservation and got seated immediately. We were served by Caitlyn who was very sweet and provided good service. We also met the GM who gave us a tour of the upstairs and was a very kind and informative man with a great sense of humor. Thanks for the scare 😂. If in the area check out the place.

Excellent service. Jessica was our waitress and was great.
Oysters were wonderful… expensive… but very good.
Had the shrimp appetizer. Extremely small portion for the price.
Scallop app was very good and crispy bacon on it.
Little neck clams were good… but a little gritty for the price.
Clam chowder was one of the best on this trip.
Had the seasonal bread pudding. It was moist and warm… but missed on the flavor.

Hailey was our server, and she was incredibly kind and patient with us, especially since we were visiting from out of town, driving back home from Salem. We didn’t get the chance to visit Turner’s in Salem, so we gave this place a try. The clam chowder was absolutely delicious, and our meals were well-prepared. I had hoped to order a lobster tail, but it wasn’t available as an add-on. Instead, they recommended the lobster pie, and I’m glad they did—it was fresh and delicious. The Parmesan risotto cake was perfect add on. The pasta with shrimp and sausage was also really good, and I loved the ricotta touch. I would have preferred a bit more pasta, but it was still delicious.

The salmon was just okay in taste, but the portion size was very large. The oysters were also just okay. The desert was also good! Overall it was great food!

Ps if they have the seasonal pumpkin beer, give it a try. My friend said it tasted well.

My Dad took me for my Birthday.I heard great things about this place and was excited to go.Im very disappointed the lobster bisque was delicious but came cold to the table.Clams casino all u could taste was the bacon.I ordered shrimp scampi the shrimp was delicious but pasta overcooked and way too much garlic.My Dad was happy with his linguine and clam sauce . My son ordered the fried haddock it was too of the smallest pieces of haddock I've ever seen the size of goldfish we we're shocked after seeing it on Phantom gourmet we couldn't believe that's what he got served the fries were mediocre and the cold slaw was inedible.He was hungry when we left the restaurant.I ordered creme brulee for dessert and was not a great choice.Our meal was rushed and the waitress left us with no utensils for a few minutes after our food was served.I had to ask her for water several times she was too busy talking to her boyfriend then paying attention to her customer's.We definitely won't be back and I will not recommend Turner's to anyone.It was a very disappointing Birthday dinner .

Parking: Very small parking. It’s for many stores

Great restaurant, great food and great service.
When I arrived, I got seated right away and requested to sit outside since the weather was nice.
It took me a while to go through the menu because it is massive and there's lots of great options. So it can be quite hard to make a decision because of how many options they have.
I ended up ordering the Grey Sole fish dinner and it was great. The fish was flavorful, and it was stuffed with a crab cake which was really good. The sauteed spinach and truffle parmesan potato wedges were also good. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the different kinds of fish and the menu items.

Overall if you're looking for a great seafood place, this is a really good option. And it being in downtown melrose, it's a convenient location with other shops and activities nearby.

Parking: It was difficult to find parking since downtown was busy at that time.
