My boyfriend and I stopped here not too long ago. I got a lobster roll and he got clam strips. Both were okay but nothing to write home about. It was also a bit pricey but that’s somewhat expected when ordering seafood. The vibe here was cute and old timey but I wouldn’t go back solely because there’s better tasting seafood near my work. I’d say if you’re absolutely dying for some quick food and can’t afford to drive a little further out, this is a good option.
We’re unsure if there’s been a change in the kitchen staff, but the food quality has noticeably declined. The fish sandwich was dry and overcooked, and the fries were similarly disappointing. We went on Memorial Day so the line was long but it moved quick. Plenty of shady picnic tables which was great. Fried seafood was perfect. Pricy but every clam shack is nowadays. Cute grassy area for kids to play
