How could I not have heard about Al’s Diner before. I moved to Methuen 3.5 years ago and I am so glad I came across this restaurant. Tricia was our server and she went above and beyond. They are lucky to have her. She was so nice. The breakfast was delicious and we will definitely be back!

I can't say enough good things about Al’s Family Diner in Methuen! This place has that quintessential old-school diner vibe that you just can't find anymore. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and great service that made me feel right at home.
I ordered two bacon, ham, and egg sandwiches, and they were absolutely delicious! Each bite was packed with flavor, and you could really tell that they use quality ingredients. The sandwiches were hearty and satisfying—perfect for breakfast or whenever you're in the mood for a tasty meal.
If you're looking for a cozy spot with a welcoming atmosphere and fantastic food, Al’s Family Diner is the place to be. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu! Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great staff with a great attitude, they're food is delicious, but I'm big on breakfast, basic breakfast menu. I would recommend homemade cornbread French toast it's amazing.
Food is good but Al needs to hire some high energy staff. Taylor with the glasses low energy and not that great with customer service. She's more focused on hanging out than taking care of customers. Obviously lacks the mind set to be a good waitress.

I was able to get myself some good home fries and some bomb gravy biscuits along with bottomless coffee at a quiet spot with excellent service. My bill was only $10 and change! What's not to love about great food, great service, and great prices. I'm moving to the neighborhood next weekend, and this will be my go-to breakfast spot!
