I am a long time Ellies customer, I come here often with friends and family. I had a negative experience with our waitress, she was rude and was not up to the standard that Ellies usually has. I brought my cousins here who have never been and were visiting from out of town. I am not sure if this was racially motivated or if she's simply new. She did not allows us time to go through the menu, yelled at us and proceeded to ignore us countless times. We were not able to order our food and we had to ask for the check three times, in three different tones. I am not amused by this.

Really great spot, but can get super busy so come with your patience. Took our waitress a long time to greet us, as well as bring drinks over. (They arrived with our food). Delicious donut holes and eggs Bennie. Their coffee is also great (plus complimentary hot available while you wait!! Super thoughtful!)Kid-friendliness: Kids menu could use a little love. Very small and uncreative.

Worst breakfast I have ever had! Sausage gravy and biscuits. Not gravy! Watery cheese sauce! Sausage no taste. Buiscuts absolutely horrible. Hash browns the only thing edible! Go anywhere else for breakfast!

What a cute place! I loved the decor and the farmhouse vibes. My 4 year old and I were killing time in the area and stopped in for breakfast on a Thursday morning. There was no wait to be seated and they dropped off a plate of cinnamon sugar apple slices at our table to start us off.We chose the donut hole appetizer, then I ordered the barbacoa plate and she got pancakes and sausage. The donut holes were very well enjoyed and I was very impressed with the barbacoa plate with home fries, eggs, barbacoa, guacamole and pico. It was a little spicy and I wished I had a water, but our waitress was a little hard to track down. We got fresh squeezed orange juice and hot chocolate - we said yes to whipped cream but I didn't realize it was the oil based variety and once it melted my child wouldn't touch the cocoa with oil spots on top of it.One last critique was the suggested tip amount when we paid. A 20% tip was about $7.50 but the suggested 20% amount on the receipt was closer to $9. Not sure if it's just taxes included in the total then the tip is calculated but I didn't like the discrepancy. On a larger bill the difference would be a lot more.

I've traveled some far distances to try out a variety of breakfast places. When we came across Ellie's Farmhouse online we thought it looked like a great place to try, and glad we made the 45 minute drive to check it out. Helpful hint, if your curious about the menu almost every dish has an actual picture on their site.First off, the staff was amazing! Amanda our waitress was absolutely fantastic and an absolute pleasure to wait on us. She was excited, cheerful, and had a contagious smile. Her advice on the menu was spot on, and everything we had was delicious. The donut holes are a must try if your thinking about them. For the meal, I went with the Baja Grill and was amazed by the savory flavor burts with each bite.If your thinking about trying it out, you wont be disappointed!

love this place. i've been twice for breakfast and the food and service was fantastic. my partner has celiac and we informed our hostess prior to ordering and she was super attentive and she made sure to speak with the chef to ensure my partners food was made carefully and without cross contamination with gluten. we really appreciate the extra precautions taken to keep my partner from getting sick! our hostess was named Luisa i believe. thank you luisa, we will be back!

My last "two" visits with friends, a total of three Omelets - Western". Three of the Omelets were barely average, overcooked, and dry, one was even dark on the bottom. I didn't want to turn in the Omelet that was (dark-overcooked) as all my other guests were served and I just wanted to get on with breakfast. The most recent visit was on a Tuesday, two guest total, not a rush hour and two dry overcooked Omelets. Regarding the ingredients, Onions- ham- peppers, they were diced so small they were almost tasteless and meaningless in the Omelet. Not even sure these made average grade... Folks, I didn't want to write," average" results but after two visits, I've had a lot better. A Breakfast Omelets should be a main-stay staple plate with no issues.
