A college friend from the area told me that this place is the ONLY place to get fresh pita bread. It’s not a fancy place but has a nice offering of Lebanese and other middle eastern ingredients and food. Know that the medium for the pita bread is the size of a small pizza (!) I purchased 2 wheat and 2 white pita as well as their spinach pies. My whole order was $30 (!) I plan to freeze most of it to enjoy this fall. We grew up with this bakery originally on Hampshire St, and are so happy they are still around and in their larger grocery store. A wide variety to choose from.Their bread is the best. We literally take our periodic fieldtrips down to shop, for our home, family parties, or to share.The staff is so kind.Stop by and enjoy. You won't be disappointed.
Wow. George's is simply the greatest, and throughout the years they have consistently been incredible. Always happy to assist, quite hospitable, and offering both ready-made meals as well as everything required to cook them oneself. In addition, we offer bakery services. I want to say thank you for consistently going above and beyond my expectations.
