we were gifted a chicken pot pie with vegetables and I will tell you this is by far the best chicken pot pie I’ve ever had. I’m a very picky eater and always love quality food. The meal was amazing and I’ve been dying to come back

Bland pies and very little gravy. I don't understand that. Why not use a decent amount of spices and gravy? I shouldn't have to add my own to it to make it have flavor and a whole lot less dry. We aren't wild animals eating prey that we just killed, after all.

Excellent chicken pies, plenty of delicious chicken! (the crust is also delicious.) A comfort meal anytime of the year but especially on a winter night! Very reasonably priced. A shout out to the staff at the Reading location, they are friendly and very nice!

Went to there Methuen location for takeout in Nov and Dec.I ordered a individual pie with no veggies when I got it home it was the wrong order called the location and said they would make it up to me .In December ordered the same thing and had the young gentleman repeat the order , I also when I got there said they should have my name on file but no where to be found I did not make a big deal about it but I did reconfirm my order and said it was correct . But when I got it home it was wrong again had veggies , called the store and actually spoke to the manager who remembered me and said they were sorry took all my info down with my address and said she would send to corporate office and they would send me out a gift card .It has now been 6 weeks and nothing .I guess this is what happens when you take a small 1 shop business and expand . I have been going there for over 30 years and I have to tell you I’m very disappointed

These pies are classic, offering a taste of old-time American comfort food at its best. I can remember being a little kid growing up in Wakefield and frequently eating in at the Reading MA location. A great alternative to ordering a pizza (no offense pizza places) if you're looking for takeout some night.

I had heard about Harrows thru a friend who grew up on the North Shore and after calling to confirm they are open every day from 10-6, took a ride to Dedham to try it out and serve it to my 93 year old Mother I take care of on Sundays.
Showed up just before 10 and waited and waited. Called the number nothing. No one inside the shop prepping
Left just before 10:30 and my wife called shortly thereafter and no one picked up
Sent an email a week ago to Dianne at the email address listed here and silence
Read mixed reviews on the pies and more specifically on customer service and my experience confirmed the worst of them.
Disappointed, was really looking forward to trying the pie

I don’t understand all the love for this place. Convenient yes. Decent prices yes. Honestly the pies a super bland. Not trying to be mean but really. Use some seasoning. Salt and pepper would be a start. If I ate it with my eyes closed I would have no idea what I was eating. Same goes for the apple pie. It’s disappointing that simple things cant be corrected. But hey! Apparently lots of people like eating bland tasteless food! Enjoy!Go to Nason’s in Boxford. You can’t get them hot but they sure taste great.
