This is a takeout business that has multiple locations in Massachusetts. We stopped by one on the recommendation of a neighbor. It is very difficult to get good chicken pot pies in the grocery store and this store was worth a try. The business was clean and the woman working there was helpful once we explained that it was our first time there. You can buy chicken pies with or without vegetables. They come in warm, cold and frozen. You can also order side dishes with the pies. We purchased two frozen pies with no vegetables. My wife likes to cook her own vegetables. At home, we cooked it according to the instructions and added mashed potatoes and vegetables. We thought the pie itself was very good. The crust was crispy and the pie was filled with a large amount of white meat. The gravy was very good too. We have already returned to this business for more of their frozen chicken pies. They are so much better than the grocery store brands. We just wish the store was closer to where we live.

I finally thought to order a chicken pie early enough before I was hungry. It was ready right on time. There was a guy working who was super friendly and energetic and closed out with "I hope you enjoy it"! Just great great service and the pie was loaded with chicken! A+

we love Harrow's chicken pies but, we normally go to the one in Reading. Methuen is closer to us so, we decided to go there. Their customer service Olathe the Methuen branch is very poor. I think we are going to travel farther to get good customer service.

Bland pies and very little gravy. I don't understand that. Why not use a decent amount of spices and gravy? I shouldn't have to add my own to it to make it have flavor and a whole lot less dry. We aren't wild animals eating prey that we just killed, after all.

These chicken pies are very delicious. I really like the fact that you can call 1 hr ahead and pick up your pie fully cooked or get it frozen if you are going to use it later. They also sell a lot of the extras, like cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, squash and other things. Their service is really something and they are always friendly when I go there.

Went to there Methuen location for takeout in Nov and Dec.I ordered a individual pie with no veggies when I got it home it was the wrong order called the location and said they would make it up to me .In December ordered the same thing and had the young gentleman repeat the order , I also when I got there said they should have my name on file but no where to be found I did not make a big deal about it but I did reconfirm my order and said it was correct . But when I got it home it was wrong again had veggies , called the store and actually spoke to the manager who remembered me and said they were sorry took all my info down with my address and said she would send to corporate office and they would send me out a gift card .It has now been 6 weeks and nothing .I guess this is what happens when you take a small 1 shop business and expand . I have been going there for over 30 years and I have to tell you I’m very disappointed

I have never been to this location before. No seating and just take-out. No problem! I could hardly see the menu behind the WALL of plastic sheeting and when I asked for some assistance, the employee pointed to the menu board. To say there was a lack of courtesy would be an understatement. No smile, no offering to help, no communication. Not sure I will go back but I did buy a bunch of pot pies to enjoy later....oh, I did get "with vegetables or without". But, I did get a "thank you" when I left.

The answer is yes. If you want a great chicken pot pie, you have to try this. The chicken is always perfect and the crust is just perfectly buttery. There mashed potatoes were incredible as well. Even though adding mashed potatoes to an order seemed redundant, they were smooth and a welcomed addition to our meal. PS. Give them an hours notice and it's perfectly cooked for you.
