It's a small place, but the food is excellent. I had the scallops and they were cooked perfectly. I can't remember the last time I had scallops that were that good.

Lived in Methuen half my life and discovered this place about 2 years ago. Truly a gem, thanks to this place my kid loves fish and the tartar sauce here. Hard working staffs too I always leave a tip cause myself worked in the restaurant industry for almost 8 years. This place is legit and reasonable price.

Grubhub stinks! Get on doordash/uber eats and I'd order your food all the time!! Or just do your own delivery. Missing out on a huge market of us lazy fish folks. Grubhub has much fewer drivers and more fees to the customer. I just paid an arm and leg for one plate :/

I've been visiting NE Seafood for the last 4-5 years and have been pretty much happy with the food. Until now, and I hope it's an isolated incident. I ordered and picked up my food (Fisherman's Platter and Fried Smelts). I drove home immediately (12 minute ride) and found that my food was cold. Not just cooled off, actually cold, as if I received an order that had been sitting around for a while. And the portions of fish werr no where as plentiful as usual. Also, the Smelts smelled fishy...when I make them myself, there's no fishy odor.As I said this is the first bad meal I have gotten from NE Seafood and hopefully the next time I go there, it's back to normal.

A must stop place for fresh seafood cooked to perfection. Meals can be fried or broiled with choice of sides. I always order a pint of their delicious cole slaw. The chowder and bisque always hit the spot. They also have a fresh fish market with great choices.

Never again! Came with 4 very small clams , 4 under cooked scallops, 3 shrimp, a very small piece of fish and a few onion rings.
Definitely not worth the money!
Don’t know how it gets the ratings it gets.

My husband and I ordered take out. This was the 2nd time getting food there. The first time was good (not great) but we live close thought we give it another try. The fried shrimp was mushy inside and my fried scallops still had that "tag" attached (the piece that holds them in their shell). So gross, who wants to be eating a scallop and get that chewy piece in their mouth?! My husband also found a piece of clam shell in his food. Anyway my husband brought it back and we explaining to the girl up front. The owner,I assume, or manager was in the back saying "there is nothing wrong with that shrimp" & do you know how many scallops we sell? what are we suppose to remove that from all of them? that is just normal. News flash it is not normal....what it is is LAZY. Too busy....LOL . I've had seafood more times than I can count...want to talk busy go to the ...Clam box, Woodmans, Kelly's at the beach,, Anywhere Cape Cod, Maine. Now those places are busy and never an issue with any food there. I don't know how this place gets so many good reviews. Not to mention who argues with customers??!
