I recently got a strawberry shortcake and brownies from Piro's Bakery in Methuen, and they were absolutely delicious! I first tasted their cake at a colleague's baby shower and was so impressed that I decided to get the same for my daughter's 2nd birthday. It was the perfect choice—my daughter loved it, and so did everyone else. The cake was light, fresh, and full of flavor, and the brownies were equally amazing. Highly recommend Piro's Bakery for any special occasion!

If I could leave no stars I would. I ordered a gender reveal cake specifically stated it was for a “gender reveal” with the words “baby” written on top. Ordered in advance it was supposed to be pink inside. The cake was white in side. Destroyed the gender reveal consisting of 75 people. When I called to give them the chance to make it right. I got “ I can txt a manager nothing I can do now and I have no authority to do anything “ the girl was very argumentative. I requested a call back and never got one. I called the next day requesting to speak with a manager and the manager was “ at a wedding “. I always loved piros their baked goods are delicious would absolutely not recommend doing anything custom with specifics from them EVER. You’ll be screwed and they won’t help you.

Wheelchair accessibility: I use a power wheelchair and was able to get in, get what I needed and come out without issue. The doors are a little hard to deal with, but manageable.
Underwhelmed with the options, the canolis were okay, the small cannoli really is small so get the largel, flavor was not bad, the restaurant next door left us underwhelmed with options so we went somewhere else, service staff no problems there

Terrible stale cookies. I had to throw them out, and I love Italian cookies. So disappointing. I also bought a birthday cake. I hoped it would be better than a supermarket cake, but it was equal. Not bad, good enough. The cakes, however, were the ugliest decorated cakes in garish colors, the deepest greens reds, navy just inedible looking. There was 1 normal looking cake which is the one I bought. If not for that one, I would have walked out. I'm not eating a teal blue cake. I used to love this bakery, but not going back.

Piro's bakery is absolutely amazing! I was looking to have a beautiful My Little Pony cake made for my granddaughter's 3rd birthday party and asked a local Facebook group for recommendations on a local baker. Many respondents recommended Piro's so I thought I'd give it a try. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint.
I emailed the bakery a photo of what I had in mind to see if they could do it. They gladly accepted the order. The cake was not only moist and delicious, but absolutely exceeded my expectations in terms of appearance. My little one and everyone at the party absolutely loved it.
The price was fair as well. I will definitely be recommending them to my friends and family.
