Let’s be real. The food was just ok, at best. The real problem is this location was unsustainable since day one. Unattractive location, terrible atmosphere and layout. They may have survived in a better location. Nice people, bad product.

We moved to Methuen in 2020, and since finding Savastanos we don’t go anywhere else for breakfast! When we aren’t in the mood to dine out, we’ll get takeout to enjoy on a Sunday morning at home. We have consistently been served delicious, hot food no matter if we were dining in or taking out.Their pancakes are incredible! They’re big, soft, fluffy and topped with lots of butter. The Irish Benedict is my favorite- with homemade corned beef hash served with toast and home fries. The home fries are real cooked potato chunks with a bit of spice and a great soft/crunchy ratio. The French toast is a close second favorite, the bread is thick and sweet. The service is friendly and attentive. We walk in and are usually prompted to seat ourselves which I like because I prefer snagging a booth by the window. Once you order, your food comes quickly and it’s served hot and fresh. We love it there because it’s a smaller restaurant that tends to be quiet, the food is reliable and the prices are affordable.

Don’t go here. This place closes whenever they feel like it. We watched them turn people away on Mother’s Day at 1030am when they were supposed to be open till noon. They said “we have prior engagements”. We have went here numerous times and they always seem to have a sign on the door that they closed early. The waitress was young and so rude. She slapped menus on the table and rolled her eyes every time someone came in. We had family drive over 40 minutes to meet us one day and they closed early. Bad business.

This was the only place my 80yr old mother wanted to go for Mother’s Day and it didn’t disappoint. It’s hard to find a place with such fresh good quality ingredients and the waitstaff make you feel like family. I’m sure we’ll be back for Father’s Day too! Thanks.

Tried their new added specials and they were delicious. I had the Turkey and Swiss panini and my wife tried the Prosciutto and provolone panini. Great additions.Service and food were great! Would highly recommend!

25 minutes for two omelettes side of hash and one pancake. The place wasn’t even busy and I can only imagine how long a wait for when it’s.Home fries and toast both ice cold, the potatoes weren’t even seasoned and were not fresh. Very disappointed considering ALL the positive reviews.Gave it a shot supporting a local restaurant/business. Definitely will not be returningPs. Take down the shredded sign out front. Not a good look.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The price was a little steep for an omelet and juice.
