The Barn Ice Cream at Mann Orchards

Good ice cream but not homemade. But they serve Gifford's which is a good brand that is based out of Maine so it is a regional brand with a good reputation. Service was good. There is plenty of outdoor seating and also the farm stand store which has a bakery and coffee with indoor seating available there as well. All in all it was worthwhile trip for us.

CASH ONLY!!! But I can use the ATM and be gouge for fees. No thanks I will take my business to another ice cream place that is not cash only. The owners of this business are being greedy

The Barn at Mann Orchards has some of the best ice cream around! Super creamy, rich in flavor, and the portions are huge—definitely worth every penny. Whether you’re into classic flavors or something fun and seasonal, there’s always something delicious to try. Great spot for a summer treat, and the staff is always friendly. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re anywhere near Methuen!

Cash only. In 2024. It would probably be okay if you don’t have to add 5$ in fees onto it for using the atm. Charge a card fee if that is the issue but it is simple to get a POS system setup to accept credit/debit cards.

***in response to the reply: your fee is $2.50. Unless you have a bank that waives the fees, you are charged another fee by your bank. Regardless, if it works for you, continue how it is.

Strawberry shortcake could use more strawberries. Tables were not clean and fell apart easily.

Went last night for the first time! I had the Apple Crisp which was the best Apple Crisp I have ever had! The serving sizes are enormous! My husband got the Banana Split and the amount of ice cream and toppings where spot on! Surprisingly not too expensive! Will definitely go back for the Apple Crisp ?

Honestly outstanding efforts by The Barn staff, never seen anything like it. Other ice cream stands can only dream of what they do here on the daily. Truly one of a kind.

CASH ONLY! They have taken cards in previous years. We used to love coming here. Now in an attempt to evade taxes at their ice cream stand, they’ve installed an ATM outside so you have to pay your bank fee, ATM fee, and then for your ice cream. Jay Gee’s accepts cards and isn’t too far away.
