Yalla has always been a place we've eagerly anticipated dining at. However, due to the economy, we've been mostly eating at home lately. Today, we decided to stop by, and what a delightful surprise awaited us—the restaurant has been beautifully renovated! The new look is simply stunning.
Upon entering, the owner warmly greeted us and offered us water. We placed our order for the chicken shawarma and yalla cheese rolls, which I recommend pairing with the tahini sauce. And don’t miss out on the rose water lemonade—it’s a must-try!
Throughout our meal, the owner checked on us multiple times, making us feel like we were part of a family gathering. His attentive service truly enhanced our experience.
As for the food? It was absolutely incredible! I'm genuinely thrilled to see Yalla thrive and reach this point. I sincerely hope they continue to flourish!

New review 11/1/25. To our shame we haven't been to Yalla in a few months. The food was awesome as ever, but the dining room has greatly changed. All for the better. The place now looks as good as the food! If you like Mediterranean food or are not sure, go see Eli and the crew and they'll take great care of you! *** Dec 2024 review. As of this review we have been there so many times I lost count. Whenever family visits we always try to get there. Perfect for when you have a mix of vegetarians and omnivores. The babaganous is fantastic but everything we have had there is great. We'll keep going as long as they will keep serving us.

The most disgusting Caesar salad I've ever had. The lettuce was not only brown but it was only the green tops of the romaine lettuce. Second, Instead of using shredded Parmesan cheese they use grated that was caked at the bottom of the container. Needless to say the whole thing went in the trash....OMG! someone, please teach those cooks how to make a Caesar salad

The Lebanese-style chicken shawarma came in a lightly toasted Syrian bread wrap filled with a flavorful blend of chicken, tahini, fries, and pickles. With the delicious homemade hummus, rice and grapeleaves, I left stuffed and happy! Typical of my Lebanese and Syrian culture, the staff were so warm and treated us like family. We took some baklava home to devour.
