We've enjoyed dining at the Fireside for many, many years through several different owners. The restaurant now is comparable in quality and menu to what it was during our favorite time 25 years ago. They still offer the old Red Coach Grille favorite of prime rib served with a signature popover, which is what I had last night! The others in my party had baked stuffed shrimp and baked stuffed chicken. All of our meals were delicious, as always!

This was the first time both in our party have been here. Location easily accessible off 495 and 44, ample parking, old fashioned styled steak and seafood place with very inviting and yet hometown feel. One in our party had one of the haddock dishes. I had the prime rib, medium cut, and it had great texture, prepared as ordered and very flavorful and tender. Our server was very friendly, offered suggestions and didn't rush us, as we were catching up as former neighbors and work associates both. Will be back next time I am in town.

Our waitress was outstanding. Food was delicious. Would have liked a little more stuffing in the baked stuffed chicken as it's a little pricey.

We've been coming here for years as the building has taken on many different incarnations. This time around we're told it's the family that owned the old Hells Blazes. That alone implies quality. There's a homage or two to Hells on the menu and hanging on some of the walls. They still have some of the nostalgic decor from when it was the Red Coach Grille. It was Taco Tuesday with good specials to be had. Because it was Tuesday it was quiet yet nice. Our server Amanda was top-notch. All in all, it's not fancy schnancy, still upscale and the food was really good. It was a very reasonable priced considering today's atmosphere. Can't beat the location. We don't have a lot of restaurants in this area. I'd give it a try and find out for yourself! CEO

It was good, but not great. We were seated too far from the brunch and had to walk from one end of the restaurant to the other. They didn't have Cheesy potatoe casserole which I feel is a main staple and no hot maple syrup, so they're not serious about brunch. The waffles were as hard as a rock and no pancakes??? Note to the cooks, you need to use Waffle batter for waffles and not pancake batter!!! No flavor. The coffee could be better and use mugs not glass for crying out loud. Would not be going anytime soon.

The server that we had was absolutely fantastic! The food was very good but the noise level was exceedingly high. My friend and I had a very difficult time having a conversation. Overall though a very nice night.

We had Sunday brunch. Food was just okay. Selection of items was average. Nothing that said “oh I'll come back for this”. Service was excellent. Waitress was very attentive and a manager stopped by. And the place was full, so it is a popular spot. Like I said, food was okay

Drinks were very good. We ordered chicken tenders with Asian chili for appetizer, and it could have been a meal the chicken was plump and juicy with crispy fried coating! I ordered my steak well done, and it came out medium rare. No big deal- I'm used to it because I like my steak well all the way through. Server brought it back to the kitchen and the manager brought it back cooked perfectly (for me) and apologized and made sure it was to my liking before leaving. I appreciated that since many places don't. My partners rib-eye was perfect, as was all the side dishes. Generous portions, delicious food, and amazing service will keep us coming back!

Everyone loved their meals. Started with stuffed mushrooms my husband and Dad enjoyed them. My Dad and his wife both had the baked haddock and they cleaned their places. My husband got the HB Prime Rib and was IN HEAVEN. I myself got the short rib risotto and it was quite possibly the best meal I have ever had a restaurant. I hate mushrooms and they had no problem making my risotto with no mushrooms in it.

Teresa

The food was fantastic, my only complaint would be that my short rib risotto came out luke warm.

We had drinks and appetizers- our server helped us picks out cocktails and he had wonderful suggestions. We had the fireside nachos with short rib. Absolutely delicious! Will definitely be returning for these again. We also tried the prime rib egg rolls- very tasty as well! We will definitely be making another visit here soon.

Night of a function, restaurant and kitchen were very busy and a line for those waiting to eat. With an Open Table reservation we were seated immediately. Service was on the slower side, normal for Fireside, particularly given the amount guests. Food was good, although food should have been hotter. Many TV's, large fireplace enhanced the visuals. Been to Fireside many times. This is a consistent result. Food always good, service slow.

The place has great ambience. The buffet was outstanding. If you walk away being hungry there is something wrong. The price per person was the going price for it. We will be back again. For sure
