Was seated for 6 at the end of a row, waited 20minutes and still had no waiter come to our table. We asked the hostess if there was a server for our table after a newly sat table next to us had their drink orders taken. She was nice and told us they'd get somebody over there. Waited another 5minutes and nobody still came over. So sat for 25 minutes, nobody even acknowledged us there so we just left.
Overall very good we will be back. Kaylen was very good all ways checking on us making sure it was what we asked for and if we needed anything else.
Waitress was pleasant, friendly but very busy. She apologized for the wait and was very attentive. Great service!!
Food was great. Our party ordered the Chicken BLT sandwich, Chicken tacos, and the Breakfast burger - we all enjoyed them. The only downside was there was a function going on in their fuction room and the noise level seeped into the restaurant. They should have a door that could be closed and help keep the noise out of the main restaurant.
Both Servers that we interacted with were wonderful—both were warm and friendly and more than welcoming—nothing was too much with Amari—helped us with everything we needed with a smile. Brinn helped us to change booths—the one we requested we got, but the area there was just too cold even with a sweater—she was very helpful and gracious as well. These two are Keepers! It was a delightful—we were regular customers when it was the Boston Tavern, and we will be good customers again. Thank You~
Had the prime rib again, wife had the Santa fe salad both were great. Little disappointed that they did away of the vegetable of the day.
Have been to formerly Boston Tavern many times. Under ownership change, this has been my third visit. NOT IMPRESSED. The food seems to be very similar to prior ownership, generally good food. Service was terrible. I have noticed a decline in service each time visiting since the change in ownership. This past visit, was the worse. Plenty of staff on board, so it certainly is more of a training issue than lack of staff. Never refilled drinks, had to ask twice. Nobody cleared our table, so even if we wanted desert, there was literally no place to put the food, let alone rest your elbows. Must have waited 15 minutes, before anybody even greeted us after sitting at the table. Food took seemingly took forever to be delivered to table. No complaint about the food. Then at end of meal, waitress was nowhere to be found to get the check. I fear we are witnessing a slow steady decline for once a solid place to enjoy a dinner and a drink.
Rum punch drink specials were great. Pasta Primavera and fish & chips were fantastic Server was excellent, cheerful and attentive. Only complaint was the Cole slaw that came with the fish and chips, very bland, dry and tasteless. Overall very good, we have been there dozens of times before it was sold, glad they kept on the Boston tavern employees
Overall it was ok. I booked on open table at 6:45 for a 7:30 slot. The table was ready until 7:50, an hour wait. When we arrived they were quoting over an hour wait, but while sitting an waiting at this point 45 minutes a party of 9 walked in and knew one of the waiters. An older waiter that was always at the host stand telling the girls what tables to seat and his section was open. Anyway the girl quoted the party of nine and hourish, and he walked up telling them he'll see what he can do. He then comes back and says to give him 15 minutes I'll seat you in the function room the other party is getting up I'll take care of you. Now why is it ok for him to micromanage the seating and put a party of 9 in front of everyone waiting over an hour for a table??. I found that very disheartening and pathetic that it was allowed by management for a server to be side running the host stand for his own benefit. The host Mikayla was younger and seemed annoyed by his actions but was polite and kept quiet, as it appears there wasn't much she could do about it anyway. She was very nice. After finally sitting, we got a high top in the bar which was leaning down hill from the floor sinking on that side of the building, my food came out wrong but was fixed before the server even noticed. Our server was very nice. Overall it was ok, not sure I will go on a busy night anymore. The restaurant doesn't seem to run well when busy. I never saw a manager in sight while visiting.
It was nice, our server Kyle was great!! I liked the Boom Boom shrimp appetizer just too much, my steak was a little over. It was very loud.
Restaurantji Recommends
Made a reservation for 4 at 6:30p and upon arrival was told the table was being cleaned off. Waited about 15 minutes and observed several other tables being seated and upon 2nd request we were seated. The waitress (Jamie) was great and followed up regularly and made some recommendations. We all enjoyed entrees (steak tips, chicken and waffles, chicken parm) and the nacho appetizer. Everything was good but the nachos didn't have much to them other than cheese, jalapeños, and brisket although jamie brought us a side of salsa and sour cream. Overall it was a good experience and we would definitely return.
The food was good - the service was good! The 4 of us were happy with our meals and we managed to leave just as the music was starting. I always enjoy the tavern - when it was The Boston Tavern and now Brack's Tavern.
Too loud. Requested regular table. Got a high top. Eating with elderly and they couldn't hear a thing.
Excellent food and service. We definitely will return.
Food was cold and old, my kids food wasn't barely cooked, and the manager short guy with huge stomach was rude to me and my family, this was a few weeks ago, but I'll never return.
