Great outdoor patio with live music on a Friday night!

Seated immediately with attentive but not overbearing great waitress. Two meals ordered. Lasagna and antipasto salad. Lasagna was delicious but the salad was a huge disappointment.. One slice of cheese cut in half. Three slices of salami and Capicola with two cuke slices and two chunks of tomatoes. It basically was a garden salad. For an $18.00 salad I expected much more.

⭐⭐☆☆☆
“Stunning Outdoor Venue, Incredible Music… but Food and Service Still Need to Catch Up”

Lorenzo’s in Middleborough has one of the most beautiful outdoor dining spaces in the area. The cushioned artificial turf, elegant tent, expanded bar, and newly added outdoor bathrooms (thank you!) show clear investment and care for the guest experience. It’s the kind of place that feels special—especially when live music fills the space.

Stephen Baker, a talented performer and longtime friend, plays here with a devoted following, and his music is easily five-star worthy. The atmosphere he creates is the highlight of the Lorenzo’s experience.

That said, the food and service remain underwhelming.

The menu feels tired. While the minestrone soup is a favorite for some, and I’ve heard good things about the fried haddock, many of the other dishes I’ve tried over the years have lacked flavor, freshness, and value for the price.

More disappointing, though, was the treatment during a recent visit. A manager loudly scolded us for sitting at a table outdoors—even though we knew many guests and were not causing disruption. It felt unkind and unnecessary, and really took away from the joy of the afternoon.

There is potential here. Lorenzo’s could be a true gem—music, community, history, and a gorgeous space. I sincerely hope they invest next in the hospitality and menu, so the full experience can match the setting.

went tonight for the very 1st time. EXTREMELY disappointed with the food. had the Lorenzo sampler- pasta was over cooked, meatball/sausage were ok. veal definitely tasted frozen. wife's shrimp scampi was horrible. while sitting outside, I look to my right and see a chef running his hands through his hair and touching his face. very dissatisfied

Consistently great food and the Marsala sauce with the homemade (ALL of their pasta is made fresh in house) egg fettuccine is the best I’ve ever had.

Food was great, prices reasonable Maddie our waitress was excellent and very attentive. It a little loud in there because of a few big parties.

Mandatory 20% gratuity for parties 6 or more. Which is fine, except our waitress realized this and took advantage of it. She never cleared our plates, was scarcely available and took forever for simple water refills/drink orders while the restaurant was slow. Will not be dining here with large parties again.

The food was reasonably decent Italian at an ok price but the traditional items like lasagna were not on the menu. Service was slow but it was very busy that day. The atmosphere was more diner like and somewhat noisy. Overall I would say that it is more like an Italian style diner than a restaurant but acceptable quality food for a reasonable price.
