“What a great place! My husband and I went yesterday. I’d only been once before but it was shortly after they opened and didn’t have nearly as much as I saw yesterday. I didn’t know how to choose so we tried a bunch! My husband wanted sour dough bread so that was the reason we drove out. Just ate it with breakfast and it was delicious. The blueberry pastry and baguette my dad loved and the coconut cookie my husband loved. But the show stopper (and I fear writing this might make me never be able to get my hands on them again lol) was the cinnamon bun crescent. OMG. This was amazing!!! What a decadent treat! Lastly, idk what a yum bun is but soft cinnamon goodness but try that too!“

“We hired Mara and her team for our wedding cake and they did a phenomenal job! From the beginning of cake tasting and sitting down with Mara to come up with what we wanted for our day to the day of the event we have nothing but great things to say. We wanted something simple and chose a smaller cake to cut into and a total of three different flavors cakes for guests (red velvet cake and cream cheese frosting, chocolate cake and raspberry frosting, and lastly vanilla cake and vanilla frosting for those who like to keep it simple). The cakes were so moist and flavorful. Our guests couldn’t stop saying how delicious they were and where they were from. We even got an anniversary cake that we cannot wait to eat again. Every time I go I try something different and so far everything has been delicious, healthy 7 grains, traditional French, Irish soda bread (both traditional and white chocolate cranberry were amazing!) all different kinds of muffins and their scones! I had biscotti today and that was so good! And everyone work there are always nice and friendly, I feel so lucky to have this little gem near me!“

“The European Bakery helped us save a wedding today! A friend was getting married and somehow her family dog got into the wedding cake during the ceremony and destroyed it. I started frantically calling bakeries trying to find a small white cake that the bride and groom could cut during their reception. The man at the European bakery was able to provide us a small cake with white icing on a hour’s nice, and the bakery staff were so nice incredibly nice. The bride and groom were thrilled and it turned a situation that was incredibly stressful into a funny story because we had a new cake. The kindness shown by the European Bakery made me want to drive back to Worcester just to go there again. I can’t recommend them highly enough!“

Lots of good things to say about this place and it will be my go to for interesting food to eat and purchasing of food items moving forward. I love the focus of this marketplace as you can have a bite to eat such as their flavorful shawarma sandwich’s. Also, their bakery is soooo good! I had a pistachio chocolate croissant 🥐 that is to die for. (Much better than some fancy bakery shops) Oh and most importantly their prices are really affordable in my opinion. These are some of the things you can get high quality at a fair price. Tahini paste, spices, prepared sauces and prepared food in their refrigerated section. The garlic sauce is on point. Olive oils, preserved jams, coffee, etc. They carry quite a bit of inventory of various interesting food items. Definitely make a trip to this wonderful store. You won’t be disappointed! 😊“

Be Warned: this is a cash only establishment, but it is totally worth it! My family raved about the quality....my only gripe is I was too late to try the clam cakes, because they were sold out.
