The veal picatta is absolutely divine. Cooked perfectly. I also tried the homemade fettuccine with a pesto cream sauce. Amazing. So good. I love the way food is prepared at Calabria. The only complaint I have is the Italian bread. It takes gummy and without flavor.
The service was excellent. It was a bit chilly in there. I prefer it be warmer. It was a very cold day so I wore thermals under my clothes. It was still a bit chilly. The eggplant sandwich was not as good as I expected. I like their eggplant so decided on the eggplant panini. I wouldn't get it again.
I am Calabrese so I wanted to try the food from my mother’s region of Italy. The Bruchetta was amazing, my Marsala was just ok. My friend loved his Chicken Piccatta. Our server was outstanding right down to the bus boy! It was a Friday night, this place was hopping!
