Tried several of the options from the meats selection. They are all very good, especially compared to any other local smokehouse/BBQ. However, the sides are 10/10.

The food, service and atmosphere was great. But the only downside was everything was served separately and on paper products. But yes I would go back.

Pulled pork and smoked collards were delicious and good portions for cost. There were a lot of meats on the menu that weren't listed as unavailable, otherwise, would be a 5 stars.

Warm welcome from the staff, just stopped in to order take out of their prime beef brisket, and sides of corn bread and beans. Brought home and had a most delicious meal. The brisket melted in your mouth and the sides were delicious as well. I highly recommend if you like delicious Barbecue.

Great time! They could do with having some gluten free bread for my pulled pork but it was so good I forgave them for it. Lol
Dietary restrictions: They could do with some me gf items but it was yummy.

Favorite place to go for BBQ! The owner is wonderful and the staff is friendly. The barbecue meats melt in your mouth. They sell out quickly, so go early. Cheese curds are the bomb!

No frills dining. It's a bit dark inside. Seems like a fun place to go for beers with friends. The live music was very good. The service was friendly, but rushed and a little forgetful. I liked the corn bread. When asked about his ribs my husband said, "I've had better." I will definitely give it another try. You could tell the owners/workers were trying really hard to make an upbeat experience for all. The only dessert available was Girl Scout Cookies.

Don't come... It's... Umm... Really...
Ok. I can't lie. I love this place. The building front is not super precious, but the inside feels just like a place I used to go outside of Salado. The food is clear and authentic. Like meat? Welcome. I worked in a BBQ restaurant south of Richmond, VA for 3 years. This isn't that. This is Texas. Good beers. No bullshit.
{2/25) Holy smokes so much is different in our world since my last review. Is complex to be here now.
But this place--yeah, different faces--but if anything, this place is even more of a connector and reflection of this community than ever.
I still ask you not to come and expect to be treated like a local if you act like you're not. Be cool. Be patient. Enjoy the food and experience as it is.
