I would've given 5 stars if the service was good. The food on the other hand was amazing. I tried the harvest bowl which was full of flavourful seasonal vegetables on top of some jasmine rice. I highly recommend. The short rib cheese sandwich was super yummy too. The kids meal was what truly impressed me. We got grilled steak which was cooked just right so a little kid can easily eat and enjoy. The kids meal comes with a choice of 3 sides which are mostly healthy choices like cucumbers, fruit, applesauce etc. Even if you choose French fries, they only put ~10 fries because there are 2 other sides too, I particularly liked it because many other restaurants give a full sized fries to a kid with no other side choice so it makes the while meal unhealthy. well that's not the case at Burton's and you can make sure your kid gets a healthy meal. The service was bad. We waited for a long long time before anyone showed up. Once we were done, I had to look for someone to get us the check as no one showed up again. Maybe they are understaffed.

Had the half salad and half sandwich from lunch menu. Food was great but half sandwich was more like a quarter. Which was actually good because I wasn't looking for a big meal at the time. Would definitely go back though.

We had a pretty great waitress but the menu is disappointing to me. The short rib meal (not sandwich) caught my eye the time before this but it wasn't good and then nothing else really catches my eye. I ended up ordering two sides, their mac+cheese and their truffle fries tho' and both were good. I knew I liked their mac+cheese after my daughter didn't want her leftovers the time before this but the side one has a crumbly topping which made it even better. The amount of truffle fries they gave was crazy but made sense for the cost and was great cuz my husband&I shared them. Now I know if I pick this over another restaurant nearby it'll be for that same order because sadly there's nothing else on the menu for me.
Dietary restrictions: We had some food allergies in our party and they were great about it. A manager I think it was even came over to talk about possible cross contamination so my brother could give the okay on a meal or not. I've heard their known for being good about allergies.
Parking: The parking lot is a little tight around the restaurant and once you pick a direction you may just end up sticking with it even tho' there may have been a closer spot on the other side, but there is enough parking if you're willing to walk a bit.
Kid-friendliness: I'm pretty sure our waitress wasn't someone who's around kids a lot except as customers sometimes, but she was very nice to them and got comfortable. They have a good menu for kids. My daughter can be picky but she has options here. I love the amount of sides they can pick, and she got a dessert as well.

On a very slow Sunday afternoon my son and I sat for 15 minutes while the two hostess’s, 2 bartenders and at least 4 waitstaff walked past us or talked to each other. Not one person even made eye contact. We walked out and handed our menus back to the hostess that seated us and she said “thank you” we were the last customer she had seated and she didn’t even realize we were walking out.

Me and my friends out of state visited here for a dinner Thursday night. Upon arrival we waited for 30 minutes when ordering drinks and food after the manager took my id I was informed after waiting another 30 minutes that my ID is fake ? Me and all of my friends from out of state. So of course we left because we’re not going to pay for 50$ entrees and not have a drink to complement my meal. So if you want somewhere that has better food and better service go to Tavern in the square. At least there they will serve you and treat you like a valued customer. Our waiter was nice but the manager was anything but. Would not recommend spend your money else where.

Great food. Great atmosphere. Pleasantly surprised. I’m in the area for business for two weeks. Tried Burtons once and had wings and a chicken salad. Tasty food and generous portions. Returned and had fried calamari followed by short rib with mash. Thoroughly enjoyed the food, staff and restaurant atmosphere. Doesn’t feel like a chain/franchise restaurant.
Always a good experience. The service is top notch and the food is great. The short rib grilled cheese is my typical go to. It never disappoints. Highly recommend!
