I'm not really sure what happened, but I've genuinely enjoyed the food served here. Normally I get it delivered, but this time I went in person because I realized they were close, only 10 minutes. I showed up 10 minutes after ordering and saw the milkshake was fully melted, when it never was before even with delivery. I asked the gentleman at the window if he could please check it, because it doesn't seem like their normal standard, but he refused and passed me off to another staff member before shutting the windows in my face. The other staff person was nice, but hesitant to look either, though she did remake it. Unfortunately it came out the same and had no flavor compared to all the other times I've had it. I would have understood if they said that's how it is now, or maybe the machine is off, but I was just really disheartened to be treated that way. I dont think I'll be returning due to this, but I hope they have a better day if they weren't at that time.

Staff can be kind of rude. Food is expensive for what it is. Tastes good if you have the money to spend. Disappointed that the spirit of the diner seems like an excuse to charge way more. The menu does not have prices updated, some add ons are displayed as 50 cents but when you pay they tell you it is $2. Update the menu in good faith. Also, treat all customers with upmost respect. Experience can be hit or miss. Ups and downs but recently bad.

These burgers are like drugs! Amazing burgers cooked right in front of you, even the fried chicken and hot dogs are great too!

They removed my review so i’ll send it again. Ordered delivery online via Toast and went back and forth with both Toast and the restaurant a few times. First person that was grabbing my order stole my food and canceled the pick up. Second person came to pick up my order but delivered nothing since the first person had taken my food. I called to make see what happened and that Toast said the restaurant would have to refund since all money goes to them. Never reached back out with any update or a refund.
I was looking at more reviews and this is NOT the first time this has happened.

Such a cute little diner. There is only counter seating and the staff is really friendly. We had a burger (cooked perfectly), grilled cheese, and a root beer float. The perfect evening!

Just a note it is cash only, but there is an ATM outside.

It is a thoroughly enjoyable place. All the diners chatted - there were just 8 or 10 counter stools. Shannon is 4th generation Casey, the chef and server, and Colleen the other server managed to have quick service for both the eat-in customers AND the curbside takeout ones. It was like a United Nation which happened today, we didn't know each other, yet somehow we found one from New Zealand, one from England, and I from Hong Kong. And of course Americans! Oh, I cannot praise Casey Diner and its ambiance enough! ❤

Unsanitary and disappointing experience. I hope we don’t get sick! We visited this diner on a Sunday morning after church, drawn in by the good reviews and old-fashioned charm of the building. Unfortunately, the reality was very different. The only person working, a man named Jim, was unkempt and unwelcoming—almost as if he wished we had ordered at the window instead of sitting down. From the moment we entered, I had a bad feeling. Once you look past the vintage character, the lack of cleanliness is hard to ignore. The appliances looked decades old and poorly maintained, crumbs were scattered in the kitchen, and the overall state made me wonder about health code violations. Jim was also wearing blue gloves when we walked in—but they were already visibly dirty. Instead of changing them, he kept the same gloves on while cooking, plating food, and even handing us our silverware. After serving us, he sat down to drink his Dunkin’ coffee with the same gloves still on. It was clear he had no regard for proper food-safety protocol, and those gloves weren’t coming off anytime soon. The grill, where all the food is cooked, was dirty and greasy from the prior day. Our eggs tasted overwhelmingly of burnt grease, and I even watched Jim scrape bits off the grill and scoop them from the grease trap onto my plate—absolutely unacceptable. The corned beef hash was undercooked and cold in the middle, with a gelatinous, unappetizing texture. Even the coffee was bad—lukewarm, acidic, and seemingly reheated from the day before. To make matters worse, Jim himself was drinking Dunkin’, which said enough about his confidence in the coffee being served. For four eggs, one side of corned beef hash, and two coffees, the bill came to $27. We hardly touched the food. This place is unsanitary and unsafe, and I plan to report it to the local health inspector. I don’t understand how it has positive reviews—it deserves no more than 2 stars at best. I strongly recommend avoiding it.

Sat at the counter for five minutes without anyone even looking at me, let alone asking for my order. Talking to each other, to other customers. Nothing even that busy
