I ordered a large catering order for an event since I know personally the food is always fresh, delicious and beautiful to look at. We had a last minute change and Ranita worked with me to make it happen, even being flexible on yet another last minute change. Everything was delicious, all the guests were very happy, especially folks who were vegan/vegetarian and especially for the sambosek.

Came in yesterday for lunch with friends and we were very happy with the quality of food and service. Definitely fresh, definitely well spiced. We all made our own lunches and there were choices for many kinds of eaters - vegan, vegetarian, gf, low carb, etc. Will definitely be back!

We adore this restaurant! The food here consistently exceeds expectations — from the rich, spicy hummus to the irresistible messy fries, every dish has something special. What truly sets this place apart is the owner’s kindness and how accommodating she is. She treats every guest like family and genuinely cares about making your experience fantastic. Such a gem of a spot — highly recommend it to everyone looking for amazing food and warm hospitality!

The food at Dates and Olives is consistently fresh and delicious. Would thoroughly recommend the sticky wings, but everything I have tried has exceeded my expectations. The flavors are very well balanced, and there is something for everyone here.

We visited Olive and Dates and unfortunately it was a big disappointment. We paid close to $100 for very mediocre food, which felt extremely overpriced for what was served.

The food was served on paper plates, which already set a low expectation. The meat was extremely chewy and lacked any real flavour. The so-called Adana kebabs were anything but authentic Adana kebabs. The rice was completely bland, and while the wings were okay, they were nothing special.

Overall, this was not Mediterranean food by any standard. For the price point, we expected much better quality, flavour, and presentation. Sadly, we won’t be returning.

Dates and Olives is the kind of spot that makes you excited for your next meal before you’ve even finished the one in front of you. The food is consistently amazing, and every visit brings a new dish to fall in love with.

The menu is a true gem: every time there’s a chance to try something different, it turns out to be just as delicious as the last. Their falafel is exceptional, with a flavor and texture that instantly transports me to my days eating from the legendary Mama Noura in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Fries come out super crispy, perfectly seasoned, and seriously addictive, especially when dipped into any of their sauces, which are all to die for. The lamb sandwich is a must-try: incredibly juicy, layered with a rich date spread, and served on bread toasted with butter to absolute perfection.

Renita, the owner, is a blessing to this restaurant, an excellent chef whose warmth and kindness make every interaction a pleasure. Her passion shows up on the plate and in the way she cares for every guest who walks through the door.

The space itself is cozy and welcoming, built with community and health in mind. There’s a charming bulletin board filled with local happenings and a whole section of toys and games so families and friends can relax, play, and have a wholesome time together.

Great spot for fresh healthy Mediterranean food in Natick center. We love the Mediterranean dips, delicious hummus and labneh (tip: ask for extra pita ) and the lamb shawarma. Even our picky daughter who is not a big fan of Mediterranean food raved about the grilled chicken sandwich. We often get carry out but also love the option to dine in the cozy restaurant and pair with a trip to the bookstore across the street.

My family and I came to eat lunch and were very disappointed. The atmosphere was not clean. The food was presented poorly and I even found hair in my soup. The pictures that they have present the restaurant much better than it is in real life. We were disappointed by the service and will not be returning...!!!

The food quality is worse; everything is cold and not worth the price. Never visit.
Even after one hour at normal temperature all dips smells bad.

We visited this place after seeing the 4.2 rating and drove about 30 minutes from Boston for lunch. We ordered the mezze dips box and a chicken shawarma sandwich. The dips were served quite cold, which felt a bit uncomfortable in this cold weather, though I understand they may not be served warm—room temperature would have felt better. The chicken shawarma was okay. We couldn’t finish the meal and took the rest to go, but the leftovers didn’t hold up well by the evening despite the cold weather.
Overall, the food wasn’t quite to our taste this time, but the service and the place itself were nice.

Fresh food, bold flavors, and quick service. The chicken falafel was excellent, and everything tasted super clean and well-seasoned. Great spot for a solid, reliable meal. Will definitely go back.

I have eaten here many times and gotten takeout, and the food is consistently flavorful and fresh. I love the build your own pitas with falafel or lamb meatballs. The restaurant has a comfortable atmosphere which makes it a great place to meet for lunch or dinner, and it's affordable. My kids love it when their school groups cater from Dates & Olives!
