This review comes too late - we ate on the last night Dolphin Seafood was in business. They're closed now (forever).

The chowder was great value and flavor. They do generous pours of wine and have a great selection as well.

Sadly, this will be our last time dining at the Dolphin as they are closing and reinventing themselves. The fried fish platter was plentiful and lightly fried (not greasy) and the seafood and pasta was equally delicious. Requested Diavlo sauce which added a kick and was very good. Service was great as it always has been. Looking forward to the next iteration..

The grilled swordfish was delicious and a very generous portion. The fried fisherman's seafood platter was also very good. Clam chowder is always a great appetizer. Service was very good.

Maybe it's COVID, or maybe it's the way it is, but the service was definitely sub-standard. Any questions regarding substitutions or special dietary needs we asked were greeted with a rather abrupt "NO!" as the response, including a complete lack of understanding or support for gluten-free diets. If you're gluten-free, I would suggest avoiding Dophin. While the restaurant was sparsely attended, the service was slow and decidedly unhelpful. At the end of the meal, we were told to "Get out" as they needed to clean up so they could go home. Yikes. The food itself was "OK", but priced well above the quality and presentation. Overall, a disappointing, expensive meal.

Great oysters and yummy lobster for a lovely Sunday dinner. Excellent service made the experience perfect.

I can be very picky about food and these guys nailed it! There food was so good! I'm not the biggest seafood person so I stuck to shrimp, steak, spinach pie and stuffed mushrooms. All of which were incredible! Their steak tips, probably some of the best I've ever had! Cooked to perfection and the perfect level of medium rare. Outstanding restaurant!

Cajun Catfish was delish ! I'm sorry to say that your Coffee ☕ ? wasn't coffee enough for me. I'd like it to be as strong as the meal was . . Delish !!

Service really defined this experience and it wasn't poor but it wasn't great. Only one waiter working the entire dining room so he spent very little at every table and it took tracking him down to have anything provided. Our food had definitely been sitting under the warming lamps for too long and had dried out.

Living in the Boston area I know that we have the best seafood probably in the world. However the swordfish presented to me at the Dolphin was pitiful. Dry, dry, and no flavor. And almost on the cold side. I will not go back there. It's too bad, they are in a great location in downtown Natick.

Oyster were great! Erin our server was too! Prompt with service and drinks for two. Had us feeling right at home as if she knew, just how we like it: fresh and blue (Blue Points that is). We'd take her home, but that just would not do. Management told us she is a valuable member of the crew, of which we certainly already knew.

This is was the second time I done at Dolphin, and decided to bring my family after a pleasant first experience. Unfortunately, my experience was far from good compared to the first time. Quality of food was moderate at best, and definitely not worth the $365 that I had to pay. I ordered the lobster clam bake with 1.5lbs lobster. What I got was a 1lb lobster at best, the clams/muscles were drenched in sand, and they tasted and smelled super gamy. My parents ordered the steak tips, and I asked the server if they're marinated in the bourbon sauce or if it's a glaze that is spread on them after they're cooked and he said marinate. What we got was steak tips smothered in bourbon glaze that was too sweet to taste and ruined the tips. Our Server was very nice, I'm just not sure if we'll go there again.
