Sadly, this will be our last time dining at the Dolphin as they are closing and reinventing themselves. The fried fish platter was plentiful and lightly fried (not greasy) and the seafood and pasta was equally delicious. Requested Diavlo sauce which added a kick and was very good. Service was great as it always has been. Looking forward to the next iteration..
The grilled swordfish was delicious and a very generous portion. The fried fisherman's seafood platter was also very good. Clam chowder is always a great appetizer. Service was very good.
Maybe it's COVID, or maybe it's the way it is, but the service was definitely sub-standard. Any questions regarding substitutions or special dietary needs we asked were greeted with a rather abrupt "NO!" as the response, including a complete lack of understanding or support for gluten-free diets.
