I tried the chicken Shawarma and it was the best Shawarma I had in Metroboston area. Fresh, and delicious. Highly recommend

The spice selection is great! I haven’t explored the menu yet, but the tzatziki is perfect for these hot days. Don’t wait to explore it like I did.

Outstanding food. The gyro sandwich was the perfect balance of restaurant quality with international street food style that I’ve been looking for everywhere. The falafel is the best I’ve had in North America and the kids loved the Halloumi Cheese Sub. Finally, the people at Cilicia were warm, welcoming, and too generous to me and my son. I’m looking forward to coming back to do some grocery shopping. I was blown away by their selection of international foods and supplies.
Kid-friendliness: Rather than “endure” my child’s questions and curiosity about the international foods and items around the store, they engaged with him and mirrored his curiosity and excitement about the items around the establishment.

I am so happy that we found this place! Their beef shawarma is excellent. And their falafel is always fresh with just the right amount of crunch. The owner is very kind to my son, and is friendly and helpful. We will definitely keep coming back!
The food is great, lots of interesting products to try from all over the Middle East in the Mediterranean. The portions were generous and really delicious!

The Shawarma and chicken were cooked well and it was tasty but it’s not authentic shawarma as far as taste and cooking method; also tahini doesn’t automatically come with the shawarma and you cannot add it to online orders, you have to ask and pay for it when you get there.
Also the falafel is all made in the morning and used throughout the day which is perfectly clean but not the way falafel should be served and enjoyed. It was a bit pricey for the quality and quantity.
It is a clean place but a relatively sparse selection of products compared to most Mediterranean/Middle Eastern markets but nicely displayed.
The baklava is the best in the area and the food is also so delicious. The market has so many spices, olive oil, jams etc. The service is equally fantastic. First time I ordered takeaway and they were very kind and ensured I had everything I ordered. Second time my friend and I accidentally walked in just as they closed (early on a weekend) and instead of shooing us out or making us feel like the goobers we were for not respecting the hours, they helped us with our baklava order and chatted with us like neighbors. I love this market and happy to regularly return!

The owner George is a wonderful person and he knows a lot about all the food they sell and serve. Alina in the kitchen makes excellent sandwiches and dishes, especially beef and chicken shawarma! She adds a lot of sweetness to the atmosphere of Cilicia Mediterranean Market. They used to have a lovely Ukrainian babusya named Yana in the kitchen too, but she apparently left for another job. Yana was great too.Go to this market if you want amazing food from the Middle East and other nearby regions!

What a find for an amazing fresh and hot Mediterranean meal!! Everything tastes so good and Cilicia is right next to the Natick Common ! I’ve eaten there a bunch and take food for lunches every week! I have fallen in love with his salads, grape leaves ,baba ghanoush, tzatziki, chicken and hot sandwiches and my gluten free daughter loves his falafel, rice pudding, hummus and grape leaves. There’s also a whole market of neat imported food and fresh baklava!! I definitely recommend going there!!
Vegetarian options: A majority of the food is yummy vegetarian dishes!!
Dietary restrictions: My gluten free daughter can find things there and I mostly eat a vegetarian diet and that’s most of the food!!
Kid-friendliness: The owner loves kids and is very friendly!
Wheelchair accessibility: Right off the sidewalk and spacious for a wheel chair to get around and roll up to the tables to eat.
