Heres the story: i go there, order right, and first off the vegetables were quite frankly black and then i look at the lo mein and its not the correct color( if you've had lo mein you know the correct color and its wasnt that). then im like okay so i go home and i leave the food on the table for 2 hours. usually when i go to any other sarku i can leave it out for many hours and even put it in the fridge for the next day and re heat it, when i ate the food 2 hours later it reeked. It smelled like expired yogurt. Cleary this food has been re heated over and over for the past few days. Take this as a warning not to go to this Sarku Japan before they give you food poisoning. BE WARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Holy cow the 3.7 stars is honestly a really really generous rating and it’s not even good to begin with. This place is beyond trash. Not only do they open at 12 and tell you to come back when online says 11(post a sign on the counter if the hours have changed). The natick mall location has some self proclaimed “manager” whose a taller slender Japanese punk serving the food who will give you attitude if you mention that he served you 1/3rd the amount as the guy before you , and then refund your money instead of just doing right by the customer and giving close to equal portions. He told me he was the manager when I asked for one. (Which I didn’t believe). I hope Sarku knows this Fake manager jumps to refunds instead of offering even the slightest customer service. They have the nerve to have a tip bucket ?? Tip for what? Garbage customer service. If you hate your job don’t do it. I would avoid this place at all costs while this A-Hole is allowed to be employed there. Judging by other reviews he’s a problem that Sarku refused to fix. Shame on Sarku for continuing to promote such a loser. Only eat here if you like being treated like you are trash.

I usually get the chicken teriyaki with rice and veggies it's usually on point if they listen to me and cook it well done. Then I add 2 scoops of sauce. This 1 was cooked good.Pretty tasty, good portion also.

Chose this restaurant than the others because of the world famous chicken teriyaki. For just less than $10 compared to $11 or $12 for a plate of food on the other establishments, this place will fill your hunger and offer enough chicken without adding extra. Just choose the Chicken Teriyaki, choose between white or fried rice, and your good to go.Almost every bite of fried rice will have a piece of chicken on it and I got full before I can finish my plate. You can easily eat half of it and save the other half for later. I didn't give 5 stars because of the lack of sauce for the fried rice and a couple peices of chicken were slighly burnt giving me a crispy charcoal taste.Also, the bento box is very good, comes with everything you see in the picture. I would recommend it if you want to go on an mouthful adventure rather than only rice and chicken.
