A very cute brewery vibe with picnic tables for eating, drinking, sitting, soaking up the sun, etc. They also have big tents up so I'm sure they have fun events or receptions for larger crowds in the summer. You can walk through their orchard and go apple picking if you'd like. It's a quaint and clean walk so I recommend doing it at least once. You get pretty views and if you go around sunset there's different pockets of beaming sunlight which is a pretty sight to see. Definitely a classic summer/fall spot if you're looking to sip or munch on something while hanging out with some friends. I've had no issues with parking either. They've got a big lot on dirt/grass onsite so that's never a problem. Service can get somewhat messed up at times since you order from your phone and then waiters will come around dropping off food, but don't actually take your order. There only downside of that system is there's no real way of telling when your food will arrive, and a couple times I've come here, it'll be a scenario in which all our friends will order some version of the same thing at the same time and then 1 of us will not get our food until the time everyone's all done eating. Just a little inconsistent is all.

BEST APPLE CIDER DONUTS IN NEW ENGLAND! Personally, I am not a big donut person, however these donuts are out of this world. Lookout Farm is a perfect spot to visit for apple picking, a fun fall day out with friends to drink cider and eat pizza, or grab fresh apple cider donuts. The apple cider donuts are only available on the weekends, so make sure you come bright and early because they do sell out fast. The donuts come in brown bags of threes at a reasonable price. I love it here!

We stayed because we were so hungry. They weren't open yet and wouldn't let us see a menu till it opened -all outdoors. Pretty good food. Expensive for what you get and far away to walk to Punic style. Very casual so be prepared. Coats suggested.

What a ripoff. Paid $9.00 for a very good beer. Was charged $11.28 with tax and "fees" waiter said it was not his tip and thought it sucked. Beautiful location but not a place for a few friends to gather for a beer or cider and hangout

So much fun. Great food, service and drinks. The selection of food is wide, the cocktail specials for events are tasty. The beer and cider is top notch. I enjoyed the neipa and the barnburner is a great cider, they also had a lemonade cider which tasted like a shandy. The events and activities they plan for children are awesome and include fun prizes to take home. I highly recommend this place, you will be disappointed. Additionally they are opening a child's area and a corn maze for the fall. They also offer apple picking and several other fruits for u-pick options.

Didn't try the food, wasn't hungry after seeing that for 2 people we would have to pay $22 for admission each AND $22 for a bag to pick apples, so $66 just for us to pick apples together. Sure you will get access to the rest of their activities but maybe a splurge day for sure. Place looked busy but would have to really justify spending so much. Can't say too much about the farm stand, pricey still but it's all their own stuff from the farm, honey jars and different jams and cans of ciders.

You have to scan a QR code to order which we *finally* managed to do. Ugh! Then I tried to pay with a credit card like in a normal place. I was sent (on friend’s phone) to card services for my credit card where after many questions my credit card was put in the Apple Wallet of the friend’s phone from which I was calling. I do NOT want a card in Apple wallet (even my own) and may never go back to Lookout Farm even tho I live nearby and love the views.

I see I'm not alone when I say how disappointing this so-called farm restaurant is. Nothing is freshly made, all seemed reheated frozen food surrounded by leaves of fresh lettuce. The packaging waste is incredible, with little thought of sustainability anywhere. It's as if the pandemic has settled in and dictated their system - meant for takeout only. The Greenhouses all are empty and a little sad, as if sitting next to a sarcophagus. The menu, because it's frozen food, is inflexible, and expensive. No changes are allowed. All in all, a good opportunity wasted.

We have eaten at The Lookout a few times in the past and were recently reminded that we vowed to never eat there again. While Lookout Farm is an absolutely lovely setting, especially on a beautifal day or evening, it is hard to reconcile that with the mediocre food, lack of menu flexibility, high prices and lack of commitment to any farm-to-table or environmental principles. The magnitude of plastic and aluminum single use disposables is absolutely staggering (and they do so without apology), as is the lack of use of farm fresh ingredients. In addition, they make zero effort to accommodate people who follow a plant-based diet, a dietary choice I would think a farm would understand is important to some people. And finally, there is the lack of recycling. While I fully understand that recycling is not a meaningful environmental solution, it would help their environmental image as a farm to at least look like they care about our planet and sustainability.

Terrible management and ownership. Very rude and disorganized not family friendly in the least.

I stumbled upon Lookout Farm while out for a drive yesterday. At first, I couldn't really tell what was going on because the signs outside were not clear at all about where to go for the "restaurant." Once I found where to go and went inside, I had no clue how things worked, and I had to go back up to the hostess stand to ask. It would have been nice to have been given this info when I first approached the hostess because it is a unique way of doing things, and I had Never been there before.Considering that everything is served in containers with plastic utensils and with minimal at best in the way of "service," I was pretty shocked when I saw the Very High prices for Everything. It is Not for people on a budget. I could not afford anything except the side of mac and cheese and the cucumber salad, which were not worth the money more because the portions given than the quality of the food.It seems to me that the business model for this establishment is to get as much money as possible for the least amount of effort. It was Not the kind of dining experience one would expect for the prices charged. ?

We received an email about brunch, the pictures looked good, so we decided to try it. Atmosphere is nice but the brunch was less than desirable! I had to send back the 1st order of chicken and waffle because the waffle was cold. The biscuit was cold and like a hockey puck, soft butter that didn't melt. Blueberry pancakes were okay, but smothered in blueberry sauce. The mimosa was delicious. Come for the beer & cider not for brunch.

In summary: Feeding Trough, Environmental Disaster, & Just 'OK' (but super heavy) food. You know, I'm rarely moved to write a bad review--would rather write positive ones--but this place rubbed me the wrong way on a number of levels.Went with a few friends for their brunch in the Greenhouse to check it out.The person at the front lackadaisically leads you to a table, doesn't explain anything. The entire greenhouse looks a bit grimy. Pieces of food and wrappers littered around some tables on the crushed gravel ground. Actually no greenery--the place is bare, save for some old small christmas trees. The 'dining' is completely hands-off, as if one is sitting in one's own house or apt. There's a QR Code taped to the tabletop, and one discovers one is supposed to order everything through the Toast Takeout Food App, as if one were ordering delivery. When you get on the App's page, it says you need an account to use it. You actually don't, can just click through, but no one has explained, and you have to find someone to ask. No way to customize food items, ask for anything particular (like, for instance, adding two eggs). The only 'water' option is your run-of-the-mill drugstore bottle of Poland Spring for $3.50... Later, by looking around a while, you discover a help-yourself water cooler in one corner. The brunt of the people working there are pretty apathetic & indifferent, like acquaintances hanging out in a high school parking lot.*Everything* is brought in plastic and styrofoam. Ev-er-y-thing. (See photos.)One would think that a Farm, you know, would care about the environment. But, no. It seems like they're willfully trying to destroy it.Why use silverware and china--man, that, like, takes time to wash; and "time is money"--or even paper plates or biodegradable containers--man, that, like, is harder to order--when you can just create the equivalent of a plastic-filled landfill every day.The coffee cups are styrofoam. Who uses styrofoam anymore.During the meal, noticed one person apparently cleaning by walking around with a rake and raking some food pieces and errant plastics underneath the gravel. The food is 'just ok.' A few items were decent. But super heavy, with a processed-wheat feel, and like soaked in butter and whatever else.None of the ingredients *seemed* 'locally sourced' or 'farm fresh.' Were they using any of their own ingredients?Everything was a bit overpriced. (Even accounting for inflation.)The bathrooms are four semi-dirty port-o-potties up an incline, without any soap to wash hands after. Do these people *want* to run a Farm? Or did they inherit it and are just going through motions? Are they misguided? What's going on here? Can't speak to their other enterprises, but guessing at least some must reflect what's going on with the dining dynamic.Really want to support local businesses--but we need *responsible* businesses.
