The custard is good. They have a rotating variety of flavors that are all pretty good. I can’t give them more than 3 stars though because they do not offer tap water to customers and make you buy over priced bottled water.
I wish they would have coffee custard more often
Abbott's Frozen Custard is a long standing Ice cream shop within the Needham area. There was multiple other locations across Massachusetts, however this is the last one left.
The ice cream itself is pretty soft and smooth, maintaining that consistency even after multiple days in the freezer. The ice cream isn't too sweet, and has a nice taste that lets the ice cream go well with other desserts as well.
The frozen custard was amazing! But they do add their own tip to your bills without asking.
I always enjoyed a treat from Abbott’s but recently I met the owner and I’ve been an even bigger of this business since then.
We had a chat and I was impressed by how much he cared about being as fair and generous as he can to his employees. Good man. No wonder they are so polite, patient, and helpful every time I stop by for a cone.
(I loved every flavor I tried so far but chocolate almond and raspberry are just too good!)
I thought the coffee milkshake was meh, it was not coffee heavy but vanilla heavy. The custards were alright too.
Got vanilla with butterscotch topping. Delicious! And the staff are really nice.
So airy, fluffy, soft and light! I like it so much better than hard packed ice cream! The service was also incredibly friendly!

The hot fudge was yummy and my server Kate went above and beyond. She was very knowledgeable about each flavor and helped to find a treat within my allergy restrictions.

After going to the first Abbott’s in Florida for years, I was worried this location wouldn’t be comparable. I WAS WRONG. Every time I come, ice cream is just as good as I remember. Cheers to everyone making it happen :)
