Spiga is our absolute favorite restaurant!! We've come a dozen times and it is always the best meal! This particular time, I made a reservation for Father's Day but I accidentally booked it for a week prior - the manager was so incredible and could hear the desperation in my voice, so squeezed us in and made it work by his own kindness, even though the restaurant was fully booked. Our waiter was amazing - the service was incredible from beginning to end and our meal was absolutely delicious and so freshly homemade as always! We cannot wait to come back, thank you Spiga!!

Vegetarian options: The eggplant “meatballs” are delicious, as is the eggplant parm, the gnocchi and the pasta. Authentic Neapolitan pizza at lunch is the best.

What a gem! Spiga offers an exceptional Italian dining experience well beyond what you'd experience in Boston's North End. Every dish was memorable, but I will certainty be back for the eggplant parmesan. It is a beautiful and relaxed setting offering exemplary service. Our dinner experience was one of the most memorable in recent memory. Truly cannot recommend this place more!

looks like they just don’t care: If you like warm water and cold bread you’ll like the first presentation here. I did not. To make matters worse we were looking for vegetarian lasagna which the online menu offers. The in house menu offered vegetarian crepes which the waiter said was regular vegetarian lasagna and they just called it crepes. the regular meat lasagna did not say layered crepes, but rather layered sheets of pasta. He could not explain this discrepancy and we didn’t want crepes. He seemed frustrated, perhaps a language barrier? The hostesses said it was simply the menu had not been updated to reflect just plain old pasta lasagna. Ok we accepted that and I ordered arancini. There were mushroom and spinach ones and meat filled one. I wanted the two without meat and he said I had to take all three types or I couldn’t order it. This much aggregation before actually eating anything is not worth the high prices at this restaurant…the experience was really poor and we will not go back.
