I love these bagels more than any fancy bagels I’ve ever had in nyc. They are as fresh as it gets and the cream cheese you could eat with a spoon. So happy this place is down the road from me ! Also the staff is wonderful and it’s super clean.

Bagels are extremely good! I got them on the Too Good To Go app (basically a surprise bag of bagels that didn’t sell at the end of the day) he gave me a giant bag of 20 bagels of all sorts. They’re soft and chewy, delicious. Everything a bagel should be! Thank you! I love the bagels and we’ll be enjoying them for a while!

Great bagel shop! Wish the bagels were a little crispy but overall would still recommend to try.

I’ve gone to Abe’s many times over the years and I haven’t had a problem in the past. I didn’t want to have to write a review but honestly I feel like I have to at this point. Today I ordered a lox bagel, for almost 18 dollars. No problem with the price but if you’re going to charge people that much then you should probably make sure it’s a decent sandwich. It’s supposed to come with salmon, cream cheese, tomato, onions. No tomatoes came on the sandwich and the onions had either gone bad or were so pickled and bitter that it left a vile taste in my throat and I had to pick them all off. The salmon had gray areas and a weird texture which tells me that it had started to go bad. It’s just disappointing to get a sandwich that is so bad after paying so much money for it so please don’t waste your money on the lox bagel.

Literally one of the absolute best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. Wishing we could have a fresh- authentic bagel shop like this one in MN. Can’t wait to go back! Thanks for amazing service and delicious food!
Good Service, Good Bagels, I tried the blueberry muffins and they are not very good. They use the small blueberries, and got most of the hard parts right, there is no salt of vanilla in the muffin, and so it comes out very bland.

Do not bother going here anymore. Place cannot keep up with how busy it is. Waited 45 minutes for 1 sandwich I ordered online and it never came out, meanwhile people who walk in get theirs in a few mins. Ignored entirely and given attitude when I asked about it my order. Never going back or supporting them again.

A decent bagel shop. I'm not over the moon about their bagels, but I keep going back so I like it well enough. They are nice and light on the inside, as for the outside I personally want it to be a little crisper/firmer than they currently make them. The contrast between the inside and outside is too close for me. I also am not a huge fan of their breakfast sandwiches which I know is an unpopular opinion around here. Too often I have found it to be dry, particularly the egg, the whole sandwich comes not that warm even when I ask to heat it up, and the cheese is never melted. I like to stick to the standard bagel and cream cheese. The prices have unfortunately went up, especially on the cream cheese so I'd recommend using your own whipped cream cheese from the grocery store. Then you get the good bagel experience with a similar and cost effective cream cheese. It's still a good place to grab breakfast whether on the go or eating on their patio. You can expect a decent line on the weekends, but everyone who works there is nice and they move everyone in and out quickly.

A staple of Newburyport. I have had bagels all over the world, including NYC. But those bagels can’t compare to Abraham’s. They are the best, hands down. There is nothing about their bagels that isn’t perfect. The staff are super nice and friendly too, especially the owner. Highly recommend to tourists or locals for a great breakfast in the morning, you can’t skip it. There is not Newburyport without Abraham’s!
