This is a great place with a huge selection of bagels made fresh daily .along with a delicious selection of toppings and sandwiches. The atmosphere is nostalgic Newburyport.

The best bagel I've ever had, and I've eaten so many bagels. The shop is small and has a wonderful old new England charm. I can't recommend it enough.
Vegetarian options: They had vegan sausage advertised

If I could give this place zero stars I would. They over take online orders and don’t tell you its going to take over an hour to make a bagel. The food is mushy and not good. I have tried to give them a second and third chance but it’s always the same deal. Don’t waste time or money at this place.

Abe's never disappoints, regardless of how crazy busy they are. Their consistency is second to none. #bestbagelsever

There is literally no place to park. I tried to call to cancel my online order and nobody picked up. If you want bagels or a breakfast sandwich go literally anywhere else and you'll have an easier time.

Ordered four items online this morning to pickup. We received the typical automated response directing us to pick-up our food. No other directions.
When we arrived to pick up our order (45 minutes later) we find out that you have to check in before Abraham's would start preparing the order. The gentleman I spoke with was incredibly rude and dismissive. He responded by saying "It doesn't matter when you order" and "a lot of people order at once".
I guess my question is: why take online orders? There are a few recent reviews similarly frustrated. If you can't handle the volume of business, perhaps consider eliminating online ordering? At a minimum, being patient with customers when they ask would be a good start. Expecting 4 bagels to be ready after 45 minutes is reasonable in the era of online ordering. Abraham's doesn't even offer the courtesy of instructions after you've placed your order and paid.
Being respectful of your customer's time is a relatively simple task. Just provide the necessary information at the point of sale and/or don't stretch your staff and space too thinly.
Abraham's makes an excellent bagel. They're slammed every morning. I am sure they won't care when they read this review. Despite our decades of patronage, I am sure they won't care that we won't go there anymore. Always happy to wait my turn, but it would have been nice to know.

Best bagels around. You won't regret coming to this place. Sausage egg and cheddar on an everything bagel has been my go to for at least 20 years now

Very popular in the mornings, and I can see why! Their bagels are very well made, perfect chew, flavors, and consistency. We went multiple times and got regular bagels with cream cheese, bagel sandwiches, and the lox deluxe, everything was delicious!! We loved their lemonades too.
Wheelchair accessibility: They have two entries, both with two steps

Ordered an Asiago bagel with sausage and Swiss. Received a plain bagel with sausage that was still frozen in the middle and non melted cheese. Absolutely disgusting. Never going back here. Also confused why workers handling food weren’t wearing gloves?

One of the best bagel shops in all of New England! My family and I make the 40 minute drive whenever we can for these bagels. There's something for everyone here. My recommendation, their everything bagel with garlic and herb cream cheese.
Vegetarian options: There are a few options that are catering to Vegetarians.
Parking: There are a few spots near the entrance of the store.
