Our server, Erin, set the experience apart from the outset, even before we ordered. She was friendly, patient, and knowledgeable about the cocktail and food menu. Erin answered all of our many questions and even mixed a honey mustard dipping sauce for our delicious sweet potato fries! Erin is a great ambassador for Bar 25…she even enticed us to return for the French Toast on the Sunday Brunch Menu! Our entrees were also amazing…we had the Grilled Lamb Burger and the Marakesh Turmeric Chicken. We’re certainly planning to return soon!

We were just out and about the area and were still hungry after leaving another place we got some apps from. Decided to pop in not expecting much really based off the name and decided why not. We were blown away very cozy intimate atmosphere with nice soft music playing and I love Lucy was playing on tv. We thought that was interesting and I noticed the great liquor selection with harder to find whiskeys. My wife and I were arguing about what to order mostly because everything sounded so good. Our server recommended the magic mushrooms and those were fantastic.y wife’s swordfish was unreal and my shawarma plate was also amazing. I picked up the plate and drank all the juices leftover can’t let that deliciousness go to waste. I can’t wait to come back and continue to eat everything on the menu.

I have to say, that Bar 25 exceeded our expectations. We visit Newburyport often to visit family and found this place by chance. The lighting and atmosphere is classy and relaxing. Grace, the bartender made a great drink and knew the creative and extensive menu. The food was excellent. I had temporary food restrictions and Chef Joe came out to speak with me that resulted in an amazing pasta dish. My husbands cod and risotto was perfectly balanced. The staff couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. I highly recommend Bar 25. Thank you!
