I crave the tea here quite often! Their food is delicious, and I really want to see them succeed… Though they don’t have an official drink menu, they do have a fully stocked bar, and while the service is slow, they are very friendly and the food is very fresh and delicious! I imagine that there is a lot of pride that goes into the quality of their food. As for the tea, I understand the words of uncle Iroh a lot more now when he spits his tea out and says “this tea is nothing more than hot leaf juice!” Their ginseng tea is absolutely the best tea I think I’ve ever had.

Service was pleasant, but food was tremendously disappointing. Ordered the ramyun noodles ($25). The ramyun was literally a packet of store bought ramen mixed with frozen microwaveable vegetables and what tasted like the kind of store bought deli chicken meat that comes pre-cooked in a bag. It is criminal that they had the audacity to charge $25 for this mess.

Really lovely place! I’m a big fan of Asian cuisine and this place is different and so nice to have in the Newburyport area. My favorite meal is the bibimbap in hot cast iron pan. Yum! I’m becoming a regular! Atmosphere is nice too but my only recommendation for the owners would be to warm the restaurant a bit as it’s a tad chilly. But that won’t stop me from coming back. Highly recommend!

ZERO stars. Update your website if you are going to be closed. It specifically states you are open tonight until 9 PM. Drove over an hour just to see a sign in the door. Pizza joint up the street got our business. Hopefully saving someone else the aggrevation...they are closed for renovations until Monday Feb 12. ( then they are usually closed on Tuesday...so unless they are also changing their hours.. that's kinda dumb.)

Absolutely delicious Korean food! Highly recommend trying the Korean beer (Terra) too. We got the beef bulgogi, dolsot bibimbap and mandu. The staff was very friendly. Will definitely be coming back when I'm visiting the area.

Was cozy. Had kimchi. Chicken bulgogi was excellent and the staff was very kind. Would come here again!

Cute place but bland food. Pancake undercooked. Very busy. Friendly staff. Authentic.

Food was okay, but the experience left a bad taste in our mouths. Any establishment that charges $2 for a glass of tap water is crossing a line. The high price of entrees should negate the need to gouge customers. My wife is Korean and we agree that this one time gamble was a loss. The H-Mart food court, in Burlington, is superior in pricing, authentic, & worthy of repeat visits. That being said, if you have a craving for healthy Korean food, don't want to drive to Burlington, and don't mind high prices, than you can take a gamble at Cozy Kimchi.

Wondered in after reading the reviews and we will definitely be back! The food was flavorful and very delicious. The Hawaiian roll was our favorite! Absolutely stop in and see if you can sit by the window. Perfect spot for couples or larger groups.

Not only is the food delicious, but the staff are the kindest, friendliest people I have ever met! Food is 10/10 and the people who prepare it are 11/10.

My husband and I had dinner here on a quiet Monday evening. We were seated immediately with menus. We ordered Jujube teas, a kimchi pancake, pork bulgogi and the hot stone Bibimbap. Our tea was served right away, and our food arrived shortly after. I was surprised how quickly everything came out! The food was delicious and tasted fresh. I was offered kimchi with my bulgogi but declined because I had ordered the kimchi pancake. They didn’t offer daikon or other sides with the bulgogi but I didn’t think it needed it. We had a great dinner!
