This is an old standby in Newburyport, Ma. It's a classic seafood restaurant that's stood a test of time. The exterior and upon first walking in, it's like a time capsule a bit dated, but it has a certain charm in that sense. The soups are phenomenal. Keep in mind it has a limited menu that is primarily seafood focused. The food is good, and they have a surprisingly sneaky good steak and cheese sub. The staff is friendly, and it has a locals cast during the off-season....
This place is alright if you want a place to eat very good quality seafood for a large party of more than 4 people! The Fried Seafood Combo was crisp, light, and easy to digest. The chips, always delicious, but what I thought was lacking was the seasoning of the batter.

Being from CT we wanted our Lobster Rolls cold, no mayo, with hot butter. According to the menu that is not how they serve them here. That was disappointing but just for the heck of it, I asked our server if we could get them that way, she said no problem at all. That was great and the rolls were ample and very good. We got a booth near the windows looking out at the water. Our food and our service were both great. We will return on our next trip to Newburyport.
