The Cormorant is a great spot for a family date night or a casual meal out, with parking around back and wheelchair accessibility. It’s a cute place that feels like an old-fashioned soda fountain. The menu combines new and old in a meaningful and delicious way, with a varied and constantly changing selection of food to choose from and enjoy. The fried cauliflower po'boy was a delicious vegetarian take on the New Orleans classic. The Black & Blue Double Stack burger was cooked perfectly and incredibly juicy. The option to get a side salad with homemade dressing is a nice lighter option. The Cormorant is a hidden gem, a small, welcoming hamburger joint that impressed. One of the owners personally greeted guests, sat them, brought water, and took the time to explain the specials and menu items, giving the whole experience a warm, personal touch. The pork belly smash burger was outstanding, and the fries are really good too.
