This place is truly amazing. The atmosphere is very old world pub. The bar is beautiful. The staff are amazing. The food, holy cow The food is incredible. Best Lobster bisque I've had in decades hands down. I'd fly across the country again solely for that alone but everything our party ordered was delicious.
We live near Newburyport and are so glad we finally made it to the Grog! My family and I went there for a late afternoon meal had a wonderful time. The food was hot and delicious and our server, Lauren, was attentive, friendly and offered helpful suggestions. Definitely going back!
Ruben Sandwich with Fries and Salmon Potato Salad...both excellent dishes. Savory and filling!
