Solid restaurant, good steak, better chowder, and they know how to cook a burger. Would definitely go back for the chowder, tried both the New England chowder and the Mushroom bacon chowder. Excellent!
Halfway between family back in Medfield MA and us in Cumberland ME, the Grog has been a welcoming go to for years. Warm, comfy, great service and food and a perfect spot to meet up with family.
My experience was just okay service took a while and didn't even noticed us. And got the fish and chips that were mostly dough and had to send it back. awesome atmosphere but otherwise whatever
