A taste of Chinatown in Newton Centre. Peking duck and Hunan crispy fish were perfect.

You should not have to issue a government issued ID just to order online. That's absurd, they also leave the back door open at night so the pork can cool down

Loved it!! Great value and taste - yum! Try the dry pot and the mapo tofu. Free dessert!

Authentic Cantonese food. Dim sum was just ok but the fried noodles 河粉 was spot on. Note, during the day, the front of the restaurant could get very warm.

I came here with my family and got to try a lot of things! Most dishes were above average. The salt and pepper calamari was particularly good, so we would definitely try more salt and pepper dishes next time. The Sichuan boiled fish fillet was also good.
The lobster with vermicelli was pretty tasty, but we would want to try the ginger scallion lobster next time for the bolder flavors. We were also sitting next to the lobster/fish tank, and it didn't seem that clean..
The dungeness crab with sticky rice was quite bland, unfortunately. The shrimp with snow peas was decent but nothing special.
Overall we would probably choose items that have stronger flavors next time. The menu is huge, so there's a lot left to try!

Food is good, but it is often too salty for my tastes. We enjoy the dim sum dishes, but it can be hit or miss as far as liking something enough to order it again. I guess, like any Chinese restaurant that I have been to in the area, there are some dishes they do well and appeal to my taste and other dishes that do not.

I am glad Ding’s is back in business, this is some of my favorite Chinese food in the state, it is as good, if not better than my favorite restaurants in Chinatown. Food is not only delicious but prepared rapidly and the wait staff is equally awesome. It can get pretty busy here, so best to come during off hours or you may have to wait for a table.

The worst takeout I've ever had.
Chicken wings: Ok, not crispy
Pork pot stickers: Tasted like cardboard
General Gau's beef: A weird gelatin texture, no taste
Orange Chicken: No taste

The food was mediocre, at best. The Governor's chicken was stale/soggy, which leads me to believe that it was not cooked to order. Many of the dim sum plates were previously frozen items not freshly made in house. Better food elsewhere.
