Having dined in Hong Kong, Guangzhou, 8 other Chinese cities, as well as the Chinatowns of New York, San Francisco and Boston, I consider Ding’s Kitchen to faithfully capture the tastes and authenticity of these other culinary experiences.
If you need to pack up leftovers at this restaurant, make sure to tell the server to use plastic containers for dishes with sauce. Otherwise, they’ll just put everything into flimsy paper boxes that leak easily. This isn’t the first time I’ve been both frustrated and amused by their packaging. Is the cost of plastic containers really so high that they’d rather risk losing customers? I honestly don’t get it. Except for soup, which obviously can’t go in paper boxes,...
I came here with my family and got to try a lot of things! Most dishes were above average. The salt and pepper calamari was particularly good, so we would definitely try more salt and pepper dishes next time. The Sichuan boiled fish fillet was also good.
