We had booked a large group reservation over a week in advance and called to confirm 2 days before. When we arrived the waitstaff and managers started arguing with each other, in front of us, because they were not prepared for our table of 14. Managers were yelling at the wait staff. The managers would not speak to us and sent waitstaff over to deliver the messages that they were “slammed” with tables but would seat us as soon as possible. Waitstaff openly said to us “we were not told about your reservation.” We did get seated and managers still avoided us and left staff to handle the large group. Waitstaff was so friendly and nice, but not equipped for the large table. Entrees were coming at one end of the table while drink orders not taken yet at the other end. Food came late, missing dish came late and was ice cold. Two shrimp pasta dishes were brought and the waitress said, “these dishes have fish, I don't know what they are I hate fish, do you know who ordered this?” No manager check in on the large table or if things were going well. Overall felt like they didn't care and wanted us gone. This used to be my favorite restaurant when visiting Boston as a child. Will never ever go back.

Delicious food and INCREDIBLE service! I brought my three children (4, 2, and 4 months) to dinner tonight (Sunday) solo and had a wonderful experience! It's usually a challenge bringing two toddlers and an infant to a restaurant, especially solo but WES and FIN made tonight a great experience! I called from the road to place my order so that it would be ready when we arrived. Since this is something they dont do, they assumed I was ordering pick-up. No matter! They got us seated right away, and adjusted the order so that my hungry kids could dig-in right away! They made space for my car-seat (I was too lazy to assemble my Vista just to walk from the car to the restaurant), brought dough for my boys to play with and smiled as my kids sprinkled salt and pepper all over the table to make their own pizzas. They kept checking in to make sure we were all set, and even interacted with my 4 YO when he had a little meltdown. When it was time to leave, they helped pack up the leftovers and walked me to the car (hands full with a car-seat) -- and all with a smile! They made me feel 100% welcome and I was blown away by the service! Im usually nervous about the mess and noise that my kids make (which is totally normal but can also be disruptive) but they really made us all feel welcome! Food of course was also delicious. Will continue to come often!
