A low key casual neighborhood place. Bar food, but a nice step up. I had a delicious salad which I would definitely order again. My friend had a great cocktail with red wine and bourbon. It's a little loud but that's to be expected.

Caleb Ehrhart is a great employee and made my meal at Brewers Coalition the most incredible experience I have had in my life! Would recommend eating there!

Comfort food heaven!! Try the waffles & chicken and crispy brussel sprouts appetizer. The haddock reuben, and truffle fries are delicious! Whenever we're in the neighborhood we'll be back! ?

I got a pulled pork melt sandwich, which I've had before, but they've changed the bread and made it much worse. The meat was so greasy that it completely soaked through the bun, and the sandwich was falling apart. I got about 2 bites in before giving up and eating it with a knife and fork.

Nice place for a casual drink and/or bite to eat. We got the pulled pork nachos. It was a bit cheese heavy, but had delicious pork and crunchy chips. They had a good selection of unique beers on tap. It was quiet on a Saturday night. We walked right in at 8:00. Overall, Brewer's Coalition was a nice place for a chill night out!

I went to the Newtonville restaurant with friends after work. Before I left, I ordered an apple crisp and a brownie sundae to take home. NO ONE TOLD ME THE APPLE CRISP HAD WALNUTS IN IT, AND MY HUSBAND HAS A SEVERE NUT ALLERGY. He has been throwing up for the past hour, yet when I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager, the manager gave me a lame apology and said that customers should always let servers know about allergies before ordering. APPLE CRISP SHOULD NOT HAVE NUTS IN IT, AND THE SERVERS SHOULD LET PEOPLE KNOW IF NUTS ARE IN A DISH. I will never go to this restaurant again.

I have been going here for dine-in and take-out for a very long time. While the food is a little overpriced but consistent, I was disappointed to see on my receipt (which no one said anything about, but noticed it on my receipt when I returned home) an add-on takeout container fee on a recent visit. I doubt the container cost for my meal was any mote costly than the cost of serving and cleaning dishes, flatware, napkins and condiments. I found this disappointing and I will avoid doing take-out in the future as there are plenty of other options out there.

Disappointed. To show our support, we ordered directly from the restaurant, donated to the COVID relief fund, and went to pick up. The order was not ready at the time they said it would be, and we waited another 15 minutes for wings and fish that were overcooked with soggy fries. So ordering directly from them is just the same as ordering through grubhub. Next time we want to eat in, we'll order from somewhere else.

Nice relaxed brew pub. I recommend the crab cakes and onion rings!

Introduced to this place by a friend who grew up in the area and will definitely be coming back. Casual, welcoming environment and very friendly staff who are knowledgeable about the menu. As the name suggests, there's a terrific selection of beer! The food was also excellent, and came to the table quickly. You can sit indoors (with some TVs) or they have an outdoor patio.
